I think we always need to remind ourselves that we handle the little annoyances of life differently every day - like one day someone cutting in line doesn't bother us at all because we are just in a chilled space and the next day we are stressed out and the same thing makes us almost unreasonably angry. So why should it be different with the "bigger" emotions like grief? We experience every day differently and there are so many factors that influence us and our emotions - we need to acknowledge that this doesn't only impact our day to day life but also our overall state of mind...

Earlier this month was the 5th anniversary of my dad's passing. Grief is such a strange beast. The day passed and I hadn't even noticed, and the guilt I felt at that was really strong. But then I realized that maybe it was a good thing - for years, that day was a day that really took me out, I couldn't function. But then this year I got up and went to work and didn't even notice that the the day was relevant. I think it's a sign of healing. I guess what I'm trying to say is thank you for talking about your experience with grief, and it does get better

Hi! I started watching your stuff maybe 2-ish years ago when I was looking for slice of life Christmas content in Korea (weird niche I know). I can imagine its hard to be bombarded with influencer content from the other side of things and don't know how much of it should dictate what you do yourself. I just wanted to say that the reason i've kept coming back to watch your content almost every week is because you just feel like a human being. Theres a lot of hyper polished, fantastical slice of life content out there already. I think what makes your content different to me is that you feel authentic. I know thats a cliche word to use when you show us exactly what you want to show us, but I don't feel like your content is insidious or trying to make things look like what they're not. I don't think you're showing us an idealised lifestyle, you're just living and showing us all the best beautiful bits that you want to share. Its charming and engaging. If I were to liken your content to anything it feels almost like a digital gratitude journal, where you're showing us the little highlights of your day. It reminds me to stop and enjoy the same moments in my own life, and its very refreshing. I don't expect I'll comment again for another 2 years but thanks for putting yourself out there every week. Its a privilege to watch the small moments of someone else's life and I'm glad I get to see them every Monday morning when I'm dreading going to work. Its a nice reminder of what I should actually be paying attention to.

Going through a loss from someone so young is truly difficult. I lost my 18 year old cousin 5 years ago yesterday. It’s hard to explain, or understand unless you’ve been through it. Loss at any age is hard, but loosing someone who was taken too soon is a different type of pain.

Grief from losing a young person is so overwhelming, rough and it absolutely goes in waves! I dealt with a death of a friend that was a year older than me and now i am 2 years older than him which feels sad and odd. Take your time because time does truly help. Grief will accompany you throughout but it becomes less overwhelming with time! Never forget that grief is all that love for that person that has nowhere to go anymore
