I relate so much to this, I've had these mini strokes constantly for about 6 months now, and the gaslighting from everyone around you telling you it's anxiety, or it's all in your head, or in my case "you're just making it up" is infuriating beyond belief!

Hi bluejay, I know your post was from a year or more ago but I'm curious as to how you found out you had the mini strokes after the six months. Did they spot them on a brain MRI with contrast or did you have a CT scan of the head/brain? thank you. Also, I hope you're feeling better and doing well enough.

Brilliant! Thank you! I had a mini-stroke from heavy lifting and carrying 250Ibs of shopping 60 feet in 9 increments at work. Spinal injury, right shoulder, abdominal aorta, lower abdominal pain, hip and right pelvic floor prolapse, swallowing issues (Cricopharngeal Bar from stroke/strain), neurological damage and carpel tunnel. I asked Workers Comp for Prolo for the carpel tunnel. It was denied and I was told it had to be surgery. I know 5 people who had that surgery. In each case the nerve was cut "accidentally"! I have to use a walker now and had to quit driving. Nobody cares.

Praying it’s not all coming back ever. Inflammation in my neck isn’t safe it causes syncopal convulsions. Each doctor I’ve seen except a chiropractor gave me nonsense answers… I too have huge yawns once I directly went into seizure during one. I think I may try prolotherapy if I can ever find it near me.

Yes. Been dealing with this since the summer. Vagus nerve disorder, vasospasms, thought i had had two heart attacks. Was out of breath, could barely walk long distances, the GI tract was affected, had swallowing problems, could barely eat solid foods, dropped weight. My primary care doc chucked it up to anxiety. Finally the AO chiropractor showed what was happening in the neck, cervical instability. Its sort of cleared up, but I still get vasospasms.

@@Phalanx93 I fell against a wall last year and had a very bad concussion, but no post-concussive symptoms presented until a few months later, but ever since then, I've had all the same symptoms this woman is describing in the video. One thing I'm 100% convinced of is that in order for symptoms this severe to occur, there has to be a major injury that preceded them. In her case, it was the tear that occurred in the gym, but as far as things like excessive cell phone use and neck cracking, that's stuff that everyone does now, and sure, it can slowly cause minor problems over time, but it's not going to totally ruin your life like this, so if you're experiencing anything close to what this woman or myself are, it was undoubtedly a result of your head injury.

Terrific, how do I get my insurance company to pay for the treatments? And do you house the people that come to you for treatment from out of state or out of town?
@CaringmedicalProlotherapy Жыл бұрын
Hi! We do not take insurance, Caring Medical will provide you with an itemized statement (after your treatment) that you can submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement. Some of our patients have received reimbursement, some have not - it is ultimately up to your insurance provider. There are hotels very close to our office however, it is up to the patient to take care of that. Some patients have found vrbos or rented during their treatments, whatever is best for you and your family!

Can this medical centre open something in Ontario Canada? Even if it’s periodic. Or start an affiliation with something similar already here, just to speed up or strengthen services of such available here!? There’s not many services that can deal with EDS types here or the neck in general. Peoples neck issues are ignored by specialists.

When has anyone's body ever went numb from anxiety?! They tried to tell me mine was anxiety too but sometimes only one side of my body would get weak, tingly, spasms, etc. Totally different than an anxiety attack where you just get shaking in BOTH your legs or arms and heart racing for just a minute or 2
@-TheRealThing- Жыл бұрын
@@JacksonStar4757 Are you serious? I guess you've never had an anxiety induced panic attack before, you feel like you're dying because your body is going numb starting from the hands & it moves up until you can't feel your arms or legs. The body does this to prioritise the important organs as it thinks you're in a life or death situation.
@JacksonStar4757 Жыл бұрын
@@-TheRealThing- I had had panic/anxiety attacks and I never felt any numbness or tingling; just heart racing, dizziness, legs shaking, and maybe a mild headache for a few minutes. Can be different for different people I know but also like I said in my previous comment anxiety doesn't happen on just one side of your body. My attacks from cervical instability were some kind of seizure activity or mini strokes I'm just glad it hasn't happened in a pretty long time. I only had or 2 since I been getting my atlas adjusted and none so far since starting prolotherapy
@-TheRealThing- Жыл бұрын
@@JacksonStar4757 As you say, it can be different for lots of people. Healthline says this about it, You can experience anxiety-related numbness in a lot of ways. For some, it feels like pins and needles - that prickling you get when a body part “falls asleep.” It can also just feel like a complete loss of sensation in one part of your body. You might also notice other sensations, like: tingles the prickling of your hairs standing up a mild burning feeling While numbness can affect just about any part of your body, it often involves your legs, arms, hands, and feet. The sensation doesn’t necessarily spread through the entire body part, though. You might only notice it in your fingertips or toes, for example. It can also show up along your scalp or the back of your neck. It can also show up in your face. Some people even experience tingling and numbness on the tip of their tongue, for example. Finally, numbness might appear on one or both sides of your body or show up in a few different places. It won’t necessarily follow a specific pattern.
@JacksonStar4757 Жыл бұрын
@@-TheRealThing- ok doctor then how would you determine if someone had an anxiety attack or a stroke/seizure? You would most likely ask what the person felt like earlier on in the day, what they were doing when the attack happened, etc. Jovana had said one of hers happened when she was doing a yoga pose and mine happened when I turned my head in a certain position. That indicates that it is not a panic attack and that something is wrong structurally in the neck to cause such severe symptoms when holding a certain position
