Nice looking truck, but that bouncy bed. Yikes! I would also like to have seen it run at the same size as the Knightrunner. Even if they didn't sell a ton of trucks, they would probably sell a buttload of grilles, light buckets, and tailgate latches!

Yes Yes Yes. I believe Carisma is a Korean company. I have the Coyote 2.1 which is the same exact chassis & I got mine with the esc 2 with controller just like what you have. I took it out & first time the driveshaft end pin & spring popped off within 30 min. & the driveshaft was dragging & only had front wheel drive. I contacted Carisma the same day & my new crawler sat for about a month before they sent me the parts. I looked myself & didn’t find any in stock anywhere so yes parts are not always available. Turns out Carisma knows this is a issue & said people where putting shrink wrap on that area so it doesn’t pop off. I used a little hot glue & seems to be working. I didn’t have very kind words for them at that point. But I put the stock wheels off my Sendero on it & im telling you it changed the performance like you wouldn’t believe. I’ve been running it for awhile now & it’s performance is amazing at that price & it’ll out perform some of my more expensive crawlers. I’m now a fan based on performance with some mods & have the stock electronics still in it. If I do get this RC it’ll be my second Carisma crawler & I’ll look at getting some bigger metal bead locks with that same type & look wheel. I’ve seen many that look very similar. Once you do that it’s on. Get the extra pin & spring kit now other then that nothing but smiles.

If you open the receiver box, there is closed cell foam inside against the wires where they enter the box, to seal the hole. I wouldn't submerge it in water for long, but it seems to work fine for typical stream crossings.

Programable ESC with program box is a nice touch. Floppy bed looks weird, but if you install the bumpers that would probably fix that. Wipers can be had, but it would have been nice if they had included them. I like that the body is true 1/10 scale, I wish other manufacturers would do the same ( in the real world most smaller truck's tires stick out a little). The chassis twist looks a little odd, but I think it may actually help get over obstacles.

All good except: 1) Stickers don't look like they conform to the surfaces at all,. The "tail lights" are especially offensive. 2) Not a fan of those wipers being formed into the windshield. I wish they didn't do that so you could install proper 3d-printed or photo-etched wipers without also being stuck with those. 3) The zero-depth bed is a bummer, yes, but it also wobbles like a heavy set lady's behind while running. I have to note that the wheels do indeed look fantastic. The rims are pretty, the tread pattern is pretty, and, importantly, the wheel-to-tire diameter ratio is nice and down to earth. (Personally not fan of oversized tires that make the truck look like a Monster Jam reject). Also, agree with the inner fender sentiment 100%.
