Very insightful video bro. I got my wheel from carbonbargin a few years back for my 850i. Same style, perforated leather on the sides and carbon on the bottom, top and also the entire front fascia (by the button trims). The wheel itself had a lot of unnecessary issues like coming in with stitching de-attached on the edges near the horn, the display having a few blemishes (got the shift lighting display, totally regret that) but I found it odd that I had a heated steering wheel feature for it since most companies said they couldn’t do it. It’s worked really well for 3 years now but I was bummed out they didn’t have a spot inside for me to transfer the module that controls the “auto pilot cruise control” which steers the car for you. All in all, if I had to do it again I’d definitely get rid of the shift lights and go with another company because who the hell sends a wheel in with the stitching on the end of the leather popped out, but still weird they were able to do heated and have it work fine when most companies say they can’t. And I later found out the company is probably a drop shipper, since it came from “Hong Kong” 😂😐

Yeah your wheel seem to have a bunch of issues. That is one reason why I try to keep it simple with wheels. These guys are out of NY so shipping and customer service is good. Surprisingly your heating function worked tho

I get a small pick tool and I slide it between the plug and the connector part on top. I separate them and then pull the plug out

Got the same wheel on my M8 but driver assist won’t work , I have put the small cable sent with the wheel, it works 5sec then it’s like I don’t hold the hand on the wheel and stops working , does someone knows the problem ?

No… I have not seen any of the wheel companies do that.

There are multiple companies that make F90 wheels that will retain heated function only on the leather portion as heat will degrade/discolor the carbon.
