Love the name 😊 And as an RN, I can affirm that I’ve cared for numerous patients where uncontrolled DM has completely and utterly wrecked their bodies. Multiple hospitalizations for DKA and HHNS. A 30 year old that needed peritoneal dialysis, amputations, a transplant and went almost completely blind. It’s really heartbreaking, especially when you don’t have adequate medical support from your parents at a vulnerable age. Not to mention, a young school age kid who died at a sleepover when her parents didn’t hear their glucose alarm on their phone because they had one night out. 😢

My daughter was also 6 years old when she was diagnosed. As a momma, it breaks my heart that she has been the icu so much. If diabetes is not treated properly, it can affect every other organ in the body. It can lead to blindness and amputation of limbs, specially the feet due to poor circulation. Diabetes is also one of the most expensive diseases to have. 1 insulin pen is around $100, my 10 year old goes through 2-3 a month. Not to mention the cost of all the testing supplies. I hope she has some kind of insurance.

@@holmes426 diabetics can eat anything they just need insulin before the eat it. Their bodies don't turn carbs into energy bc their bodies nor longer produce insulin. Everyone, in a perfect world, would eat the things you mentioned sparingly. But diabetics can absolutely have sweets and cake.

@17:03: She mentions her baby that was “born” dead after only six and-a-half months gestation. She later, @28:08, talks about receiving a severe beating while pregnant. She called it a “domestic violence relationship”, therefore, it is safe to assume the beating was at the hands of her pimp. Her ribs were broken and she wound up in the hospital. How do you break the ribs of a woman pregnant in her third trimester without harming the fetus?? I was diagnosed Type 1 when I was 21, I’m 38 now. Definitely had my share of close calls, it’s NOT a disease to mess around with. When you said your pimp knows how to INVEST, I damn near choked on my coffee. He INVESTS IN WOMEN…..YOU to be exact. He makes his money selling your body to other nasty men, he doesn’t care about you. If you died today, he’d have another gal in 4 minutes and move on like you never existed. You’re a DAMN number to him, not a person with a beating heart and feelings. I’ve watched your face this entire episode-you look exhausted and tired. A pimp doesn’t work for the money but they convince & collect money owed to others that isn’t theirs. Pimps don’t work for their money, they just manipulate others into thinking they do. Is it in the bank account, is it in money orders with your name on it that only you can cash out. Is it on a prepaid debit card that only you have the pin to. And if it is on the debit card, that card need to be locked away someplace where it’s not easy for you to touch and can’t nobody else touch; that he can put money on that card remotely. So bc she’s pretty she doesn’t “deserve” this according to some of y’all. What if she was ugly; would you be saying the same? Doubtful bc I’ve seen many of y’all comments on other videos. The hypocrisy is astounding. This is her CHOICE! The fast money is too good for her! She has to WANT to get out; nobody can make her no matter if she’s “DESERVING” or not. Good luck to her, I hope she takes her Diabetes seriously or she’s going to live a lifetime of HELL! ❤️

You know how you grow up and you don’t really know how to budget until you go on your own and have to hands on learn how to adult budget groceries rent bills car payments etc? Even tho it was explained to us thoroughly . Similar thing . You can’t understand the game unless you’re in it or been apart of it in some aspect . You can’t understand an emotional and strenuous circumstance(s) you’ve never been put in . Because there’s a lot of layers , most squares don’t even understand why most people get into this life because everyone’s circumstances are different

I would love it if Mark asked these women why they believe this demographic is more prone to violence than others.

Carissa, take your own advice " don't trust people " You think your ' folks ' is protecting you ! He is not. Where was he during the BB gun incident ? It's your body , it's your life that you are risking. You have an apartment and a car , how big is your bank balance ? I'm guessing you have just enough to be comfortable. Nice place , wheels ,clothes etc BUT YOU WILL NEVER HAVE ENOUGH TO GET AWAY FROM THIS LIFE.... coz your folks will never let that happen. You are an ATM for him Please take care of yourself , get out of the game while you still can At 23 you have your entire life ahead of you. Don't waste it on the streets
