@@Shay-li3zv I live in South Australia. We had one three day lockdown when the state government had every right to believe a significant outbreak was on the cards, and then a key contact was found to have found after probing by the authorities. Within an hour of this news, the government opened up everything without restrictions. I also work in government and am privy to a higher degree of information relating to managing COVID. Australian federal and state governments aren't putting restrictions in place any more than they absolutely need to. I know you won't believe me, but the proof is in the pudding vis a vis case numbers and economic recovery.
@Shay-li3zv3 жыл бұрын
@@keynesianeconomics4113 Case numbers are nothing more than that, numbers. Anyone could type up a bunch of numbers, but that doesn't make it any more true. People are capable of lying to others, no matter their "status". Also, them opening things up and making official statements does not prove that covid-19 exists. I implore you to question everything, not just about covid-19, and look at them from a blank perspective rather than one that favours the government.

Me calling him a “dead set legend” is another way of saying that in the eyes of his fans, he ABSOLUTELY is a legend & always will be.... Alive or dead ✌️😁✌️

I remember when pubs used to be cool and for adults. When did we let pubs become family fun centres?
@soundsolutions3 жыл бұрын
It started in the late 80's. Decline of live music in pubs due to "noise regulations". Alcohol taxes went up to curb the "aussie drinking problem". By the turn of the millenium, all those great local pubs where pretty much gone. Only pubs left are those owned by big conglomerate corporations. 😞
@robynmurray74213 жыл бұрын
Yeah, let's go back to the "good old days" when the country mums and the kids sat in the cars outside the pub after their weekly visit to town, waiting in the dark for dad to come and drive the family home. No question of the wife and kids going into the pub to have a meal while they're waiting of course. Couldn't have that. God forbid. And everywhere else in town closed. Considerate husbands might bring a shandy out for their wife to drink alone in the car. Gee, thanks. Does that sound cool to you? I assure you it wasn't.
@jethytech34548 ай бұрын
You sound traumatised Robyn 😂😂😂I take it you don't drink. That's how it was, how you wrote it. But to me, it sounds fair, girls went shopping and the husband went to place a bet and have a beer. To me as a boy it was an adventure to go shopping with mum and then see how the men hanged out together after work. I don't drink at all into my late 30's and just see it as a waste of health and time. I really liked the way you wrote your comment just didn't see it the way you did. 😊

Twice I’m my life I’ve had bar staff refuse to serve me, once - totally abusing these rules. Once in Coogee Bay Hotel at about 1am, I was told everyone in our small group had to drink a schooner of water as no alcoholic drinks were being served for 30 minutes. That was no problem. The other time was a shitbox little pub called the Currumbin Creek Tavern. A mates band were playing, I knew everyone there, as I was working as a roadie for the band that night. There I was enjoying myself, talking to everyone, beer in hand, sorting drinks for the band etc. Then out of the blue some scowling little c**t behind the bar refused to serve me a drink, said I was drunk? I didn’t argue the point. Twenty minutes later mate bought a round of drinks and handed me one, within minutes I was surrounded by bouncers being aggressive pricks, threatening me etc. I wasn’t drunk at all so their goading didn’t get any kind of a reaction. I just explained that I was the roadie for the band, and if they wanted to kick me out they would all be working an extra hour waiting for the band to pack up. They looked a bit stupid after the gig when I was checking leads off a list and carrying massive amps down a staircase with turns, without missing a step. I have no issue with these “no being drunk laws”, but in the hands of arseholes they can ruin a good night out. I haven’t set foot in Currumbin Creek Tavern since, and band I am friends with, have stopped playing there due to similar instances. Place died on its arse as a result, in terms of music.

I know the place, I went to get about my 5th beer and was refused by the bartender, It was one of the rare times I was actually with a few people who were supposed friends, of course they didn't leave just because of me and instead just looked at me like I'd done something wrong because 99% of people are pathetic selfish soulless pieces of shit, there's always an incident at that place, another time I just wanted to see some boxing fight and couldn't get in because I only had an expired licence, most places are bad but that joint is the worst
