From what I know about Jung is not that he only dabbled in Alchemy and Freemasonry, he was heavily interested in the occult and esoteric teachings. Supposedly a lot of his ideas came through communication with certain entitites. I don't know what was his method for establishing that communication, but Jung was for sure more of an occultist and a magician than a scientist and a researcher.

The fact that he could be absolutely mad (crazy) for a time and still continue his clinical work is amazing to me. The sheer power and focus of his mind is absolutely awe-inspiring, in my opinion.

There is without a doubt that Jung was heavily versed in occult and kabbalistic texts and ways of thinking . From his knowledge of nuanced kabbalistic and Hebrew terminology and context , in particular in his later life his visions of the garden of pomegranates as mentioned in “The Red Book” . Or his very apparent knowledge of alchemical and hermetic concepts and his seamless integration of them into modern psychology . Just the way his brain formed ideas screams familiarity with the occult , the spirit world and the shadow of self. That he has family lines to secret societies only provide further evidences and correlations. Whatever one may feel about secret societies and their checkered and shrouded history Carl Jung definitely left an amazing impression and impact on the modern psychological world view and is a direct source from the mainstream world directly into the shadow world of the deeper archetypes of the soul and shadow into the collective unconscious and I can only tip my hat to that

There were only a select amount of people who actually succeeded in the creation of the philosopher's stone, and even then we don't know for sure if they really did. This is because to achieve the creation of the stone you have to go through immense spiritual journeying, torture and ego dissolution, and even then it may not be enough if your intent is even slightly ill. That's Business. Money is it's own esoteric craft. But it's not alchemy. Misnomer. Christ is the living philosopher's stone. Jesus was "Alchemy" incarnate (it's mechanical concept) But you all miss whom Yeshua is. He is that He is. I am that I am. Creator. Hermes/Thoth/ is Enoch. Enoch is NOT the anti deluvian King as that is around Noah's time. He's older than that epoch. Yeshua is the I am, the True Creator and One Outside the All. You worship the All aka Samael Satan the God of this World. The demiurge, Shaytan, Satan, Iblis, Pan, Ra, Odin, the horned goat of menaph, the astral man, etc etc etc etc ... But God is beyond the All. That's whom Yeshua was, incarnate, as the Self personified projected from the Father/consciousness and Spirit/conscience of God. From what did God call Moses out of? *Egypt* aka Bondage, slavery, Magika, false reality perceptions restricted by One Eye, and not the whole picture. "1 When Israel was a child, then I loved him, and called my son out of Egypt." “But God led the people about, through the way of the wilderness of the Red sea: and the children of Israel went up harnessed out of the land of Egypt.”

Such a relief to the soul to come across an intelligent channel! When the more intelligent class of men, even in this dark age assemble together, we can only pray that their works are for the benefit of the soul, individual and collective. In recent years we might conclude that this is no longer the case and the so-called intelligent class of men have degraded to the lower realms. We can understand, however, that Carl Jung, coming from a strong ancestral line in his time, would have certainly had the association of Masons and possibly other secret society members as his influences and confidantes. Whether he was an active member doesn't seem to be so important I feel and possibly he even maintained a respectful distance. Whatever is the case, my feeling is that he perfected his life opportunity by surrendering to the work, for the benefit of those who find the strength within themselves to access it. God is great! Let us all awaken!

You can recognize the hand signs, gang signs, like the hidden hand. If you read they clearly state they believe Lucifer is God. They say it. Famous Satanist Anton Lavey also acknowledges that Lucifer is Satan!??? And both Putin and Xi do the hidden hand. Here in the US there everywhere. Food for thought, and I'm Agnostic!

Great video! The narration sounds like the voice of Christopher Lee. I personally think that just as Jung studied but did not adhere to any religion, so too did he study or get influence from Freemasonry or any secret societies, but I think he did not adhere to them, because I think he got to the individual in his outlook on life. On a side note: ….director Stanley Kubrick has seemed to put many themes of Nietzsche, Jung, along with alchemical traditions and themes. Specifically, The Shining and 2001 had these things in them. These elements made those 2 movies very interesting.

Romans 10:9 = Eternal life. Accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior and you will be given eternal life and be saved. Proverbs 9:10 “The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom: and the knowledge of the holy is understanding.” Jeremiah 17:9 9 The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it? 1 Corinthians 3:18-19 Let no man deceive himself. If any man among you seemeth to be wise in this world, let him become a fool, that he may be wise. For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. For it is written, He taketh the wise in their own craftiness. Romans 8:6-10 6 For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. 7 Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be. 8 So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God. 9 But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his. 10 And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness.

Portrayed in clunky math poetry, 0 and infinity are the same entity, the paradoxical union of opposites that is necessary and embedded in life's evolution. Thank you. As a student of Jungian thought and a Freemason, I have often been perplexed why Jungian scholars have not given more attention to the relationship between Jung’s psychology and the Craft. If you decide to expand upon this work, I suggest that you might want to explore the parallels between the Masonic symbolism of the pillars and Jung’s concept of holding the tension between the opposites. The three degree structure of becoming a Master Mason can also be seen to correspond to the principal stages of alchemical transformation. The Masonic symbol of the Winding Stairs could be see as an image of Jung’s concept’s of integration and individuation. Whether there is a direct lineal connection between the Craft and Jung or not, the similarities appear to give some credence to Jung’s postulation of a collective unconscious.

just because he was influenced by it in his thought doesn't mean he was a practicing freemason. Jung avoided involving himself too deeply with the topics he researched and mainly just observed and analyzed. This is because he wanted to be as objective/unbiased and empirical as possible when researching various different spiritual practices and schools of thought.

This video came at a time where I am going through some of the different stages of individuation. And it's been rough so far, but this video gives me some perspective and some new alleys of discovery. So that seems quite coincidental. I think Jung's philosophy touches on a lot of occult ideas which most philosophers and scientists try to avoid, from the arrogant idea that man is all there is and it's all a coincidence. This makes his ideas feel timeless and intuitively correct, either he got those ideas from somewhere or straight from the source. Another awesome vid!

@@grasje1 The one that got me started was Man and his Symbols. In case you don't know how it came to be written I'll tell you! Jung was adamant that his work was for academics and could not be simplified into a book for the masses. Despite the overwhelming response after he appeared on The TV programme Face to Face with John Freeman he continued to say his life work was over. But then he had dream where he was standing in the market place talking to a large crowd. He knew then it was time for him to reach out to the ordinary folk. Another book I love is The Undiscovered Self which is also very readable. It discusses the importance of striving for our individuality as that is the only way to overcome the forces of tyranical collectivism.

There is also evidence that he had extensive knowledge of the Norse/Germanic pre-Christian spiritual traditions and that these also heavily influenced his work. Thank you for clarifying the relationship with Abby Warburg. I'd suspected something similar, but it does tidy up my thinking in the general area. I'm a founder member of the Warburg Institute's Esoteric Studies Research Group, thanks to a study which, viewed from one angle, develops the alchemical Eucharist quite considerably. Let's clear one thing up. Modern chemistry developed from chymistry, and al-chemy, and al-quimia, in turn, and the academic specialists of the History of Science have no issue with that. The pivotal point is an experiment undertaken by Jan van Helmont in 1618, which destroyed his Paracelsian thinking and forced him to start again with empirical observation. The experiment was a successful transmutation, turning 8oz of mercury into 8oz of pure gold. It attracted the attention of the Inquisition, who used the same system they used in witchcraft to denigrate the entire subject. Certainly, it was easy, as the successful 1568 transmutation undertaken by the same practitioner, Nicholas de Cerclaers, on behalf of the Counts of Hoornes and Egmont triggered not only their execution by the Inquisition for heresy, but also Felipe II's retasking of the Escorial as the alchemical Third Temple of Solomon. Professor René Taylor's Arquitectura y Magia (stick with the Spanish Siruela edition, as the English translation misses thevessential annexes) makes a firm connection to alchemical Brussels, without spotting the date. That led to his sister-in-law Eluzabeth I getting hopelessly conned by John Dee, and his cousin Rudolph II by a whole shedload, in Prague. That the 1568 experiment worked is attested to by the receipt for delivery of the 40 000 moutons d'Or by the Prince Bishop of Liège to the widowed Countess of Egmont in 1600, which is in the French Regional Archives in Lille. The question is, how? Starting from the realisation that Mercury and Gold are neighbours on the atomic table, so annihilating one proton of mercury gives you gold, how do you do that? Firstly, you strip the electron shells away, then you introduce an anti-proton. Then you let the gold settle out. Yikes, you say, plasma chemistry in 1568! Impossible! Or is it? There were two schools of transmutation, the older "wet path", wood-fired, taking a year, and the new "dry path" taking a month. Conservation of energy tells us that to do the same amount of work, considerably more energy is required, so 12 times the heat of a wood fire brings us to plasma temperatures, 2400-3600°C. But they didn't have electricity in 1568! Not quite true. In the Museum in Barcelona, there's a row of rather unremarkable travel chests, which they call Arcas. Travel chests of the same kind as used to make chest capacitors, at least a hundred years before Faraday. Suddenly, we're on Arca Dei territory. What happens if you put a couple of tablets made of piezo-electric stone in a travel chest, and take it jogging? The jostling charges them. Add a metal cover, you've got a discharge terminal, so when you reduce the air insulation by lowering it from the shoulders of the four burly priests doing the jogging, it discharges to earth. Wham, bam, goodbye Jericho. I've explained the link between de Montfort, Bézu and Brussels, in his cousin Cardinal Konrad von Urach, legate to the Albigensian Crusade, and constructor of the Terarken Almshouse, in Brussels. That then had a Eucharistic foundation next door, which in the 1880s would be promoted to the "perpetual and universal" seat of the Eucharist by Leo XIII, based on work done in the 1430s to give a firm foundation for the devotio moderna, at the heart of the Renaissance The loose end is Heisenberg. How do you create an anti-proton? And here's Jung, thinking mind-games.

I think his main influence was the alchemical aspects of the biblical and other scriptures and texts that he investigated with great vigour. He also had a spiritually advanced lady friend that often pointed him in the right direction. It is clear that he was also on his own spiritual journey, although he did not complete it during his lifetime. Academia and academic thought can often get in the way of a free flowing Spirit working with Spirit for the advancement and evolution of the soul. During its purification and the merging with the Spirit completely. His work is influential in many different ways due to him documenting his journey for academics to consider. However, at the end of his life he did say that he wished that he had spent his life studying mysticism and alchemy for it is obvious that it was there that he found far more answers to his questions and his own evolution. He had a comprehension of the rite of passage and some of its initiations, although not all of them, his spiritual journey was cut short for reasons already explained. A person cannot teach what they did not experience for themselves.

I am wondering about the question and curiosity on whether Jung was a Freemason or not. I feel that people often are far too focused on finding "demons" in the closet and when they do, they entirely dismiss the magnificent work that this soul has brought to humanity. I know this is a weakness of those who hail from a Christian background and are always looking for where the devil lurks around the corner to deceive. If that is you, you should look into the work of Carl Jung even more so, to help you understand how your psyche/Soul functions. And as far as the word "occult" is concerned, let me remind you that Jesus Christ was a notorious occultist... for he only spoke in parables or mysteries. We need to stop being so afraid of everything and try to understand instead.
