18:00 I feel myself in this internal desert of quiet desperation, but it gives some relief to hear that Jung himself wandered in this desolate no man’s land and came out the other side. I shall persist.

The part about the sacrificed and the sacrificer somehow reminds me of the Cain and Abel story in the Bible. I think those ancient people knew these things about the soul and put them into stories. The whole entire Bible is about humans having to learn to let go of things, and opinions and their egos and reunite themselves to God and the harmonious whole that they were always meant to be. If you meditate on it it is so sublime and Jung brought out these same things in his way that is also sublime. The whole book of Exodus and the wandering in the desert is about the desert of our souls and the anguish we feel as we wander around in it seemingly lost. So many parallels.

Yes yes yes… I love you said the ancients knew the soul. They lived in that space, it wasn’t a quick little meditation for a minute like many play with the souls today. It was a true knowing, not only of soul, but the whole… God. Blessings 🙏

For me the story of Jacob who becomes Israel is one of the most powerful stories of transformation. I highly recommend it. I have had some strong parallels in my own life. Israel meaning “he who struggles or strives with God.” Think about that in relation to Jung’s teachings.

Just have to share this Pearl my Soul told me: The Breath we breathed in our mother's womb is the breath of the true being, the subconscious darkness that was enlightened by the world we perceive when we breathed the spirit of the world and began to see and be seen, hear and be heard, taste and be tasted, touch and be touched, smell and be smelled. To be and not to be and to become. Is, Was, Is to come.

Listened to these first 3 lectures back to back as I hand stitch a frankenstein of a "battle" vest that will host a beautiful Hermit back patch. These lectures are awesome, the content from Jung is really interesting and I think will help to better navigate or accept some idea of internal exploration, as I find under certain circumstances that the depths can be very overwhelming and scary yet I feel there must be something(s) to confront.

I appreciate this comment! It’s great to find those with eyes and ears for this material. It seems since Jung’s time, more people can grasp it. This is why he never realized it, he knew the public consciousness wasn’t ready.

Been listening to these again. How exploring the depths is described with having a thick darkness and the ultra heaviness and terror that may be akin to being in hell is to me the feeling of my being on psychedelics and after touring parts of Europe (a month straight of heavy anxiety, life felt false). Ever since I visited that place its haunted me but also opened consciousness and I've felt the need to face it as there is something important lying there within. The ego death feels like real death though and is terrifying, clearly I'm clinging to life.

I take ‘divine madness’ to be the death or breakdown of the rigid personality structure bringing a calm fluidity in which Inner Child, true Self and one’s soul (human spirit) are welcome parts of our new identity = meaning post-transformation identity. True divine inner Self now has a voice. Spiritual intuition now has a voice without shame.

I recently discovered your work and am so blown away. Great job! I find the tempestuous music very distracting, though and have to frequently rewind to get what you're saying. I feel over-stimulated and divided between two pleasurable inputs. I will of course keep listening and eventually listen and relisten to each and every video. I don't know if anyone else agrees, but I much prefer just your voice and the topic you are illuminating without all the Sturm and Drang. I thank you for all the work and thought and time you put into these. I just want to share this perspective.

Jung’s heart believed he was the Saviour, the Rescuer and his noble life mission needed to die. It was too much responsibility on him and thus his seriousness and lack of play. His deep and sacred life mission must die. He needed to emerge from this transformation in the state of effortless rest. He needed to enter flow with the divine.

Thank you thank you! I watch a lot of shows that are about Carl Jungs work. This by far is the best description and reading of his books and inner soul search I have ever seen! You do such a wonderful job at descriptively explaining the parts, what they are about. You also do a wonderful job at your voice volume when it's needed! I do wish you put a version out without the classical music. Some of it is very distracting at certain points. But still hands down amazing! And thank you for sharing a deeper understanding into what he is talking about for others. I also appreciate sharing your own experiences! The main thing I absolutely love is that you get the point across that this journey of the sould is different for each person, Individualized experience, yet we are all one! I do just wish there was a way I could tone down the music because your voice is plenty and again certain points it's very distracting from being able to grasp deeply what your saying and your quotes from the Red and Black books. Still amazing and thank you so much again! And beautiful visualization!

A wonderful series and a wonderful resource, thank you for all this work! Do you think it would be a misreading to say that Jung's soul of the deep is similar to the content-less awareness spoken of in other traditions that knows itself as itself, prior to any objects of thought, sensation, or perception arising? I know Jung often quoted Schopenhauer, and the passages from the Red Book you quote in this video remind me very much of Schopenhauer's solution to the Kantian riddle: that we can know one aspect of the world as a thing-in-itself, and that is ourselves, our immediate, "unmediated cognition" as the very will or volition of nature itself. The soul of the Deep as the knowing that knows itself as itself, and flows in and through itself as so many currents and channels of the same knowing.

Been going through this after the unicorns and lollipops awakening from the no-thing five years ago. Not that I want to go through it, and may end up in a ward - but anything else is a lie. Going from “be”ing to this adventure. The ego suffered years of unbearable terror (slain innocent lamb), to creation (reborn from the energy of peace), to childlike state, integration, and now hell. No books or writing can prepare you for nature. Been innialated twice - it’s a spiral - I honestly think we are meant to try to destroy life just to know that life cannot be destroyed.

As far as I understand Jung seemed to echo principles which is prevalent in most mystic traditions like in Tantra Yoga , Sufism ,kaballah etc . Supreme or cosmic consciousness resides in all of us but our individualism or subjectivity I or Ego separates us from this consciousness and creates dualism in all of us . No physical force outside of us can destroy such duality . We alone have to strive for utter destruction of our ego and emerges ourselves into Cosmic consciousness . Inshort veil can be pierced from within .
@HumbleUMedia
@HumbleUMedia 2 жыл бұрын
Yes, but I do have to mention. EGO in Jungian terms is experience, will, or consciousness. In order for you to write that comment requires an EGO. My question is what are you using to destroy the EGO? If it takes the EGO to destroy the EGO, the EGO is being HEALED not DESTROYED. Healed back to its original natures, ONE. Hope this makes sense, this is Jungian individuation.

In Kenneth Grant's " Nightside of Eden" he talks about the concept of the 3 layers of the Tuonela, the Finnish underworld in The Kalevala. He starts with: 1)the subconscious 2)the subterranean 3) antimatter black hole of annihilating fire. As someone who is on my own journey of transformation, I am well aware that this 2nd level is a rough path. That's a big dark hole. I can only hope what's down inside is not hungry, my ego projects. Then, I feel a thrill take hold of me. I hope it is full of that fire and that it leaves not a speck of me untouched. I want it all! Everyone plug your nose. I hear space smells like a fart. LOL! Great work, I'm working through your lectures. Something that really struck me. You mentioned that jung done his practice at night, his incubation periods. Did jung practice the form of sleep yoga ? As I listen to the lectures I can't help but notice parallels to meditation practice. In deep mediation you do not feel the body. A similar thing can happen at night if you meditate can completely lose the feeling of the body. Mind awake body asleep. Sleep paralysis. I'm wondering if this what jung was doing? It then also brings in the whole area of lucid dreaming.

Humble-U, this one has stumped me. I get the impression that introversion is introspection. But while I have chosen to begin this journey towards Self, I’m failing to understand the guideposts along this journey. What is this Desert? How do I know if I am there? I have not “heard” anyone speaking to me, it’s the lack of tangibility that causes my confusion. How do I know if I am doing “it” correctly? How does one even know if the work is complete?
@HumbleUMedia
@HumbleUMedia Жыл бұрын
It is a journey of a lifetime. One will not make the sacrifice on a Tuesday and wake up on Wednesday. Anything else I may say would only distort your own journey. As for guideposts, nothing happens by chance. Open up to what is, and that is they way through. Many begin an introspection, but fail to realize how much of their own (or others) junk is in the way...how many preconceptions and misunderstandings distort one's ability to see. The majority of the introversion is this clearing the way, so to say. One will not reach this (METAPHRICAL) desert without a purification. As for if your doing it correctly... that's a learned skill that you must fail over and over in order to begin to recognize. If you have anything else, or new points arise, please comment back. Like Jung says, your journey is unique to you and only you. I can't tell you, "oh if you see a purple dinosaur, your close to the desert." It is really an ongoing self-realization that is taught and realized through you. No one EVER will provide it. But after you experience it, then you'll say "OHHH! This is the state of which Jung symbolically represented as the desert." P.s. Some people see objects or visions, some hear them, some write, some they take time to develop a sensitivity to that "channeling" ability if other ways. Also, as you continue to reach higher states of consciousness, you may also see new components of awareness come through... Blessings 🙏

Terms even closer to Gods true nature than Alchemist and Philosophers stone would be The Priesthood holder and a literal stone that God wants to give us when one is ready, that will enhance ones ability to get wisdom for His purposes... but the most tremendous horrifying journey imaginable, catered to every individual, will be required first.... the Priesthood is the power by which God ordered all things in the relevant universe, and metaphorical idealogical stones will eventuall lead one to a manifestation of an actual physical stone that will magnify ones powers co operating with God to bring about His purposes... to make Christ known to people and invite them to change themselves to unite with Him in the most sensible way.
