"Pink Cadillac" is a song by Bruce Springsteen released as the non-album B-side of "Dancing in the Dark" in 1984. The song received moderate airplay on album-oriented rock radio and appeared on the Billboard Top Tracks chart for 14 weeks, peaking at No. 27.[1] The song was also a prominent concert number during Springsteen's Born in the U.S.A. Tour." While not certain, the pink Cadillac is likely slang for a woman's sexual organ.

Carl Perkins, I heard so much about Perkins, presley, cash ,and Lewis, my mom grew in that time period. And I was her 7 year old dance partner, i thought the jiggerbug was a insects, the way we dance it look like we had ants in our pants . Carl Perkins was on his way to the top til he was in a car accident that put him out of commission. Then Elvis became popular with his talent. And you all know the rest of story . Rock and roll.😅 3:03

"Carl Perkins: Friends, Family & Legends". It's a country album he recorded in 1991 with special guests Charlie Daniels, Chet Atkins, Travis Tritt, Steve Wariner, Paul Schaffer. Back then he appeared on many country shows promoting this song, specially "Hot Country Nights".
Carl avait un ptit jeux de jambes moin sexy qu'elvis mais le rock n roll dans la peaux. I agree. The piano is there, but too low in the mix I think the synth was supposed to emulate a horn section. The song is PERFECT for his style -- it's too bad the production undermines it.

More boogie woogie piano and less horns and synthesizer. Perkins doesn't play a guitar solo on this. Southern Pacific does a great job on this song also. Especially the live version from Farm Aid with Emmylou Harris.

Hillbilly Rock at its best.It was Carl Perkins, Elvis,Bruce and a few others. I remember when Elvis came out making erotic moves on stage, like swiveling his hips. Teacher said she might have to turn the TV off cuz his moves were not nice and against Christian values. Then Little Danny McAskill pointed out that in his Bible, it was mentioned Oholibah and other names with references to sex. That started the uproar in the class.
