Everyone who watches this MUST watch that All-Star-studded concert mentioned at the end. One of the greatest rock-and-roll shows EVER put together, and it's on KZbin - Rockabilly Session with Carl Perkins and Friends

Carl was the nicest rock and roll legend you could ever hope to meet. I spent a little time with him and just loved the man. He was so humble and kind. A true Southern Gentleman. God rest his soul.

What would it have been blast if Elvis was sitting right there next to Carl. Well it was not in the stars so I can only imagine what fun they would have togheter. Like Dave said, Carl is a legend. I loved the Dave Letterman show and this is a good example why. ❤

When I was in grade five, I memorized the words to “Blue Suede Shoes”, and remember entertaining my class with an off-key rendition while our teacher was out of the room.

Great song, Elvis didn't want to record it because he was such a great friend. Carl was at the hospital recovering from a car accident and in the end Elvis had to record it, reluctantly that is. We all wish we had loyal friends like that!
