Guys, I have to say that is proper lovely!. I am 44 and have watched your uploads from the start. Watching you both as brothers doing your thing brings many parallels to me and my brothers. Growing up fishing, exploring and just having a great time. There is a wonderful unison between your journey as anglers and your videos. At a time when I look at my family and see expected (unexpected) health issues with parents etc I watch these and have feelings of great nostalgia from my own universe. I’ve been binge watching this channel and other carp fishing channels for a few weeks now. I’m slowly ordering my kit to carp fish. As a bass angler I can carp fish and bass fish waiting for a carp bite. I’ve caught carp on jigs, rubber worms, and most of the time I snag them on crank baits. I live a stones throw away from 2 decent size golf course ponds and they are loaded with CARP! Huge carp break the surface and jump when I’m bass fishing. Man I’m so excited when I properly have my kit ready. I may start a KZbin channel. You guys inspire me so much. Love these vids.

Earl Stubblefield Stubblefield that’s really not the worst English tradition to adopt, I do think it’s crazy how over there people seem to neglect the Carp but I wonder if it is because your pallet is so vast? In terms of how many different types of fish you can catch and your variation in landscape in which to actually fish lol ironically one of the few species we are advised against putting back is the American signal cray😂 anyways great video lads and fair play to you mate for teaching the kids to treat the fish well that’s how they are able to grow and potentially become 🏆

@@fishwithcarl I just looked it up. Common carp are a Do Not Release species in Michigan. If you catch them you are required by law to kill them, either gut them or at least cut all the way through the neck from gill to gill. This is because they can survive out of water for a day or longer. They could ban you from the US for catch n' releasing an invasive species.

I agree with everyone else, I've been watching your videos now for a bit and your editing, narrating, everything is spot on. You're also right, in America we consider carp a "trash fish" and nobody wants them so most of us completely disregard them. I walk right by giant carp that we wish we could get out of Big Bear Lake, California USA for instance because we're all looking for trout. About the only people interested in them are the Bow hunters where they shoot to kill and don't play catch and release with them. They're ugly, a nuisance, and typically unwanted here but glad you guys are having fun with it. If you were down this way, I'd give you the tour on where to pick em' off 👍
