I should say chest dominant mix. A human cannot belt full chest above B4 because women start to mix from C5 (I've read it). Nevertheless, for a Light-Lyric Soprano like her, it's not usual to put so much weight on upperbelts let alone do these notes on chest-dominant way. But the best part is she's still able to maintain tonal quality among these notes.

F#5 isn't that high though. Most sopranos can belt F#5's and even some mezzos can. The only thing is Mariah belts in a chesty mix which makes it harder to get to those higher notes.

I'm not a great fan of Mariah, but I like the fact that she usually sings her songs live, and that's great respect for the public. Her studio sessions in the 90's were so amazingly high pitched that singing it live is undoubtedly inhuman! But she makes it live, and I wish more singers in the 21st century could do it too. We can mock her, consider she hasn't got the voice she used to have, but her performances are sincere, and true. ☺️
