If Rin wasn't defending against Sae, U20 would have easily scored more goals at the end. Rin had to sacrifice his own goal to give Blue Lock even a chance at winning. He could have made his own goal but that comes at the price of the other U20 players also making goals with the help of Sae (Aiku and Shidou clearly would if he wasn't defending). Ange was right that he facilitated that win. Otherwise they wouldn't even have the chance at all. Isagi understanding this is exactly why he told Rin it was their goal. Personally the finale episodes is a double MVP to me for Isagi and Rin.

Rin defo was not the MVP. He spent the majoirty of the second half doing NOTHING. He generally didnt have a single action in the second half until he stopped Shidou scoring which was ofc massive. And although his flow state did help lead to the goal, he literally couldve ended the game with isagi scoring after he took on the U-20 defence, but instead didnt pass, missed and almost caused a counter attack. And then in the second half everything he did was accompanied by Isagi. The MVP of the game was 100% Isagi: -Scored the winner -Assisted the chance to make it level again -The only person to keep up with Rin in the first half which made him effective and lead to Nagi goal and Rin goal -Stopped Shidou scoring a goal which wouldve 100% won the U-20 the game Isagi was a key part in all 4 goals that was scored whereas RIn was only important in 2. Isagi the MVP

Rin MVP 💯 The only one to surpass Sae (one of the top 11 U20 players in the world) (also someone who out-dribbled basically the entirety of Blue Lock) The one who put his body on the line The one who defended against both Shidou's and Aiku's goals The one who broke through the Japan U20's Iron Quartet (Aiku being a world-class defender couldn't read Rin), while Japan is primarily a defensive team, WITH the added rider of Shidou also coming back to defend The only real argument to be made for Isagi in this match is playmaking (could make the same argument for Hiori or Nagi or even Reo at the backend) and defending Shidou's goal. Yes, you could argue that he took advantage of luck, but we know Rin would have done the same, and probably better, if he wasn't busy, uk, beating Sae in a one-on-one. Why? Because we already know that Rin is well aware of how luck works. It's how he beat Isagi in the second selection.

I love isagi but he spent the whole match trying to avoid Aiku and Sae, and that's okay, he knew he couldn't beat them by himself and played to his strengths, he played with brains. But bro Rin literally took everyone on by his own in this match and beat them, even Sae at the end, he wasn't trying to hide, he was trying to defeat them directly. Again, love isagi and from a narrative standpoint his goal is amazing but Rin did all the dirty work, without Rin Isagi doesn't function the same, without Isagi Rin is the same beast.

If Isagi wasn't there Rin wouldn't be able to go to flow state in the first place ( like Sae said ) and even if Rin went to flow state without Isagi he wouldn't have scored ( he missed first shot and last ball would've been loss ball), and it goes both sides, if Rin wasn't there Isagi wouldn't do shit, Rin used all his arsenal ( his talent and flow state) Isagi used all his arsenal ( his big brain only ) And the whole point of the show is who can take the chance and score, so Isagi deserves that MVP

I think the reason Rin is MVP is because if Rin was in Isagi's place he could've scored just like Isagi(Or oven better) and he also taught Isagi luck factor, but Isagi, never in the million years could do what Rin did in this moment, destroyed 4 defenders almost scored and then won 1 on 1 vs Sae

Karasu the most underrated player in blue lock
@nneo3231Күн бұрын
Shidou won amongst all...walked away with a boyfriend
@kirojones8797Күн бұрын
Karasu is so underrated; he broke through the iron wall of the U-20 team and Sae had to intervene to stop him. He joined the attack at crucial moments, constantly providing instructions to other players on defense. He was the one responsible for buying time against Sae, etc. Good player. Other underrated players include: Sendou, Gagamaru, and Niko

i just love how the whole thing turned into a free for all, Sendou defending, Aiku shooting etc, basically transforming the whole Field into what Blue Lock has done over the last Months, Ego is taking over Ange on the Edge of his Seat the whole time, good stuff 😂

Aiku doesn't deserve to score the match winning goal since he gave up on being a striker a long time ago. That goal from Isagi was done better than in the manga and that's already so loved! That was pure cinema!
