Happy with both the Camry for myself and I got this altis for my dad. It may lack power but once you have tried double wish bone or multi link rear suspension it's hard to go back to torsion beams. In terms of quality it's much better. To each their own. Proton maybe comparable to Honda but even the reviewer mentioned Toyota and Mazda is more closely matched. I have had my fair share of good handling protons such as the V6, wira and persona elegance all of which were lotus tuned. Back then I dare say protons actually handled well. S70 when I went for a test drive is more of a comfort car. The initial pickup may be good but after 100 the climb is slow. Big CC cars is always my preferred option.

they dropped price another RM10k, so it's 142k for GRS, still pricy imho. you only go for Toyota Corolla if you want reliability, however at RM142k, they are many options out there.

I test driven s70, mazda3, civic, before decided on altis. For me the handling n comfort, beats the others..its not for built speed. Interior is quite dull. Anyway its anyone perogative, your money your way. Nice review!!

i drive a city and i testdrove the altis , it really makes me wanna get one the feeling of steering, gear knob, brakes, makes me ignore of this car is low on power

for me.. lumbar support on drivers seat is a big plus... if driven very smoothly, a very comfortable car for both driver and passengers(not going above 3k RPM)... you will not notice the speed change... a very sudden turn or emergency turn is safe and very stable.... braking is very smooth also, dont even need to do full hard braking even at faster speeds.... cons though, paint is very thin, soft hood and roof...

the objective of the Corolla is just the same with what u have at home. your oven, your fridge your washing machine only different this Corolla comes with double wishbone. Its works and do what u expect it to daily with less fuss less problems

For me, I can't get past the Perodua feel from the interior. It's a completely different design and materials, but somehow it felt a little Perodua inside, that turned me off completely. The old lethargic engine just complete the Corolla as "forgettable" car.

The platform is not the same. Yes both are TNGA but Cross is just torsion beam whereas this Sedan is Double Wishbone. It handles differently
