@whitestwhites91332 жыл бұрын
I’ve got a lot to say. First off, it breaks my heart that Andrew never got to continue as Spider-Man. If there was anyone who deserved the role, it was him. His performance never fails to move me to tears and his passion never fails to make me realize how much he loved the character and how much it meant to him. Every action he makes, every bit of dialogue he speaks, every bit of himself is complete dedicated to the role. I’m glad they brought him back in NWH along with Tobey. When I saw him turn around in the alleyway with those big white eyes and jump through the portal I wooped and hollered and cheered. It absolutely shatters me that they may never make a third film for him and give him that closure he so rightfully deserves. I think both his movies, no matter how flawed they were, were nothing short of Amazing. Lastly, the final scene here is incredible. The fact that Spider-Man can give people so much hope that a little kid in a Spider-Man Halloween costume breaks away from his parent to face a giant mechanical rhinoceros is crazy to me. Spider-Man is a symbol meant to inspire people to be brave and hopeful and he did just that. When he returns and tells the kid he’s the bravest he’s ever known but still keeps him out of harms way is just what a hero should be. He should be someone who lifts others up and cares for them and their safety. That’s what Spider-Man is, a hero. Andrew’s Spider-Man was human, he was vulnerable and a broken man. He’d suffered loss beyond imagination and gave in to the very human emotion of grief and he gave up. But he still picked himself up and came back when he was most needed. I absolutely love Tobey with all my heart, but there’s something about Andrew that’s so human and so relatable. I hope they give him more work in the future because I love his Spider-Man and I want him to have a conclusion. Thank you Andrew, for all the memories and the good times. If anyone deserves to play Spider-Man it’s you. You will always be, Spider-Man.

We don’t need people like spiderman, he’s a fictional character. A great one, but a fake one. We all need Jesus Christ. He’s far more loving and enduring and amazing than the fictional Peter Parker. Agreed,have been a long time fan of spider man since Tobey and even the comics before him and I have to say this is one really good scene that truly captures everything spiderman is.Facing emotional adversity and pulling himself out of it to be the hero the city needs and giving hope to future heros while still being able to be hilariously quick witted I'd say is the mark of the perfect spiderman.This whole scene was excuted perfectly.

An actual movie of this would have been nice though. Call me old fashioned, but in most stories with a 3 act structure this would be the big low point that happens to the protagonist in the second act or a bit earlier. Everything after that would be him finding his way again. But I guess the Sony executives didn’t want a Spider Man movie to get too ultra depressing.

Reminds me a bit of the story of Spider-Bite who was Spider-Man's sidekick but in reality he was just a kid with cancer who was spending time and playing with Spider-Man. When it was time for Spidey to go and him to go to bed, he refused because he was afraid he may not wake up again, Spidey did a last favor for the kid by asking for a coat and bringing him outside to swing together. It's those little moments that let you remember that Spider-Man is one of the most wholesome superheroes in comics.

It'd just be a bunch of meta rolled into 2 movies released the same year with a schedule like they did with The Matrix Reloaded and Revolutions and then a team up feature where all 3 Spideys fight evil-doers in another movie released Q4 that year or the following year.
