I think we have to appreciate Carlo for not pressuring or becoming angry at Sarah for not reciprocating his feelings right away and respecting her decisions. I love your story!!!!! I met someone online in 2010. We were over 4,200 miles apart (USA - UK) but quickly knew this was something different. We met in person in 2012 and fell into each others arms and knew we were soul mates without a doubt. We flew back and forth countries and Christmas Eve 2013, he proposed. We applied for my K1, and it was approved 2014. January 2nd, 2015, I packed up my life in England and moved permanently to the USA to be with and marry him. We got married, bought a house and I fell pregnant on our honeymoon! We welcomed our daughter in 2016, and I had our son in 2020. We've been married for almost 8 years and I wouldn't change a thing. He is my best friend, my meant to be, my everything. We fit together perfectly, and I never knew happiness like this was possible!

We have been in the process of applying for my UK partner visa, and I will be moving there as soon as baby and I can safely travel there. He ran across the road in the pouring rain and 60mph winds and in to the house to check on her. I stood outside because it was crowded. He then popped out and said hi. I looked at him and thought who was this weirdo and i was running on 2 hours of sleep. 😂 I forgot about him and a month later he came up to me in his firefighter uniform. Needless to say he had to remind me who he was lol. We started dating. He told me he loved me after one month and I was it for him. 13 years later, married for 6, and 2 kids later, it feels surreal.

And kudos to Sarah for realizing her feelings for Carlo were true and to not string along the person she was with because she didn't want to face that conversation. The fact she considered her then bf's feelings and how she was being unfair and understood her own is very considerate. Some don't do that which is why cheating happens. Seriously, someone needs to write a love story based on yours and then make a movie of it. Something that you said, Sarah, really resonated, and was wise beyond your years and I remember thinking the same thing years back when I was dating a guy who was clearly not in love with me. I knew that if I stayed with him for fear of being alone, I would be closed off to meeting the love of my life. It was hard to break it off with him, but I did and met the love of my life. I've tried to give this same advice to a friend of mine, but (although she broke up with her toxic relationship) he still calls her and they help each other with money etc. and I really think she needs to totally step away and leave herself open to meet someone who would be good to her.

What an amazing love story💞 but I don’t know if you everyone has a soulmate out here, as I’m 62 and have been married and got divorced by the time I was 32 and I have not met anyone, but I’m okay with it, as I have grandchildren who live with me and so does my daughter, so I’m very grateful and busy in my life, but so happy for you two, may your life be filled with love and joy for the rest of your life together ❤❤❤

Love watching you two, reminded of how amazing it is to be in love. Love is oftentimes under appreciated bc we depend on other material / superficial means to satisfy the part of self that is only completed in love. If you are not yet in love, never settle. Be willing to compromise, and ensure that you love the person more than any superficial quality about them (the way they look, what materials they have etc). . .although I do believe in physical chemistry being extremely important. Many years to Carlo and Sarah, greatest KZbin couple around.

@eyesopen-paintbrush-full2987 ай бұрын
@@bruttoecattivo2 Yes, it's a classically European way to explain falling in love suddenly & deeply... because the French say it exactly the same way.. "coup de foudre" = bolt of lightning / thundetstruck, when they fall in love... It's really about the shock of feeling such intense fire, passion, care & attachment for some one you have (usually) just recently met... & suddenly you would cross the world for that person, leave your mama for that person... a shocking paradigm-shift... (I am speaking from experience.. I'm English & was seriously dating a young doctor from S.Italy in my mid-20s..) A whole lifetime ago...

Thank you both for sharing your touching story of how you got together. I am so thrilled that Carlo first spoke through your Nona and talked to her a lot. I bet you dollars to donuts that she knew that Carlo was sincerely in love with Sarah, and his intentions were honourable. So beautiful that your families knew each other too. President Jimmy Carter’s mother help deliver his future wife Rosalyn Carter when she was born and baby sat her in a stroller, and young Jimmy accompanied when they went out for a walk. Their marriage was a love of a lifetime that lasted for 77 yrs until she passed away last month Nov 19/23! God bless your marriage and your love for each other! 🎉💙💜💖❤️💗 May you both have a long and happy life together. 🙏🏽

I know what Sarah means when she said she understands Italian but feels insecure about the way she says things. I’m the same way. My parents would mainly speak their language at home and my siblings and I respond to them in English. We understand everything they say but rather than try to pronounce or remember the words it’s comfortable to speak English. If anything we mix English with our parents native language.

My mom has been going through exactly the same symptoms. She was in bed for almost 4 months, we went to the ER and just like you we got dismissed after 3 nights with no answers, she’s had numerous heart studies, even wore a hart monitor for a month and they still haven’t found the issue, she is a little better after been placed on amlodipine 2.5 mg and started to get endurance physical therapy (even though she used to be very active) but the doctors are still trying to figure it out. We’re even thinking of going to another country to get tested because this system is so messed up. She does have sjogren’s syndrome (autoimmune) but she had never had this symptoms before. I’ve seen how bad this can get and I truly hope you have a prompt diagnosis and recovery, and please keep us updated.

You are such a sweet couple. Your love story is mine and my husband's love story! I went back to Italy for a visit with my Nonna when I was having problems with a course in University. My husband and I met and fell in love and we then had a long distance relationship for a year. I'm Italo-Canadese and he is Italian both roots from the same village. We communicated only by letters (no internet back then) and sent so many post cards that I have kept to this day. Although I understand Italian I've had to learn how to speak Italian. I'm still self conscious about speaking, not the greatest. Long story short we have been married for 47 years and still going strong. I love your amazing love story. It brings back so many memories for me. ❤

I love how she dominates him, and he can barely speak, yet he lovingly waits for a moment of his own words. How she has caused him to speak her language, English, to communicate and still his love grows. Her dominance and established control over her life even after marriage is empowering as a woman. Great relationship 💞

So cute 🥺 I was in a relationship too when I met my husband, we both had a same friend and when he saw my husband looking at me, he gave him the elbow and told him « she’s not single » so he totally respected that and we just had a good time talking during the birthday party. I broke up with my ex boyfriend 6 months later because we weren’t happy together anymore. I texted this guy and asked him if he wanted to go at the beach, he said yes. We met there then when we were swimming, he stopped, took my hand then I said « what are u doing ? » he said « nothing ventured, nothing gain » then he kissed me. It’s been 9 years now and when people see us together they always think that we’re dating less than a month 😂 I didn’t know that at that birthday party, the love of my life was sitting right next to me ❤

Listen to Sarah! Your person is out there! If everything is failing try something new! It's NOT about looks! Yes that's a plus but the most attractive person can be the worst person in the world! Also personality changes looks! Begin a friendship first! My husband is my best friend! Treat each other how you want to be treated! Don't lie if you don't want to be lied to, don't cheat if you don't want to be cheated on, etc..... Respect each other! You will find your person!
