Carlos has always been funny in my opinion. Humor, like taste, is subjective. Not everyone appreciates the same kind of comedy, and that's okay. He's not for people who are easily offended. I came to KZbin looking for Carlos Mencia videos because I'm a fan. What I don’t get are people that aren't fans, but still end up at his videos. LOL. Gotta love the comments. They never fail to entertain.

I can not believe people care about stealing jokes. How can one tell? How unique and original one can be and how can anyone tell precisely what standards or sources a comedian uses to come up with jokes that mimics some other comedian? People like to create crappy theories in their minds and vomit that out on the social media and repeat it so many times until it becomes cemented as a belief. Get over it people. even if Carlos stole anything, you know what?, it was a damn good on cuz obviously somebody else F...it all up.

People care about stealing jokes because comedians on average spend around 5 hours a day writing/revising material. How would you feel if you worked 5 hours a day on a school project and somebody steals it and get an A+ and you get a F

What i am asking and wondering is that how can you, please pay attention here, or anyone else for sure make that accusation or even harbor that doubt that someone has stolen material from someone else? are there a set of established criteria you guys are going by? If so, could you point me to it, cuz otherwise what you are doing is speaking based on your emotions and nothing else. So many comedians emerge from so many places in the world with very much similar stories and backgrounds on which the build their materials on , how could you be sure they have copied someone else? Of course i get real mad if someone stole my project, but ONLY IF I HAD THE PROOF that someone had actually done it , not because my gut tells me so.

But it’s not hard to tell if someone is a joke thief if they are constantly doing material comedians have done years prior. (something that Carlos is notorious for) And also just because you have similar stories and experiences doesn’t mean your timing or punchlines should be the same.(which is also something Carlos is notorious for)

@@bsitt9552 Would you please be a bit more specific? saying "usually" really means nothing. Where are these testimonies? How many comedians testify to that and how many of audiences actualy care? People in all professions always complain and whine about how others are copying their creations, but not many of these claims find their ways into the courts and score a legal victory and hence stay at the "claim" level. I beg to disagree with you. You can not just accuse someone as being "notorious" for something , again based on something the public has been saying without credible proof. So on that basis, It is hard, very hard to prove. When you say someone is notorious without any evidence, all that is talking based on the way you feel. No it does not. But guess what my friend. stories turn out to be the same without anyone planning on creating them. Happens all the time. No one in this world is that unique and that incredibly talented to be sure that not a word he or she says, would not be the same as someone else. Otherwise there will be no shows to go to and be entertained about.
