I liked the meditative, meandering feel of this video. I also get incredibly bored with the same old rides so my husband is always looking for new routes for us. Thank god he's got mad navigation skills because I couldn't bike my way out of a paper bag!

Except for the trash, that place is beautiful! Reminds me of some similar patches in Consolacion where we used to play as kids. ❤️

@@carlovillarica I figured. But the patch I mentioned now has a lot of houses on it, barely recognizable anymore. Definitely not that place.

i've been really enjoying your content lately. kinda inspired me to want to document my own experience on cycling. what camera can you recommend as a starter and on the budget side?
@carlovillarica2 жыл бұрын
On a budget, I would buy the cheapest gopro with stabilization (i forget which one it is.. 6 or 7?). They really are the easiest to use while on the bike

I am now hesitant when it comes to exploring "remote" route since I already had an unsual experience. We explored a private place and it has a large fishpond with a house on the edge. Of course, we took photos coz the the backyard was so clean. A day after, the place was raided by NBI and it was one of the biggest drug trafficking in Cebu. Imagine if we were suspected by those guys as police asset when we went there. hahaha

Hi Carlo, I know price points are totally different, but how does the Atlas compare with the Midnight Special? Also, hope you do a more in-depth feature of your friends Nicasio Plus. Maybe do a comparo on the three bikes I mentioned? Geometry, on and off-road feel, etc. Ride safe 👍🏼
@carlovillarica2 жыл бұрын
The Atlas and MS are totally different bikes. While the Atlas is much closer to an MTB, the MS is much closer to a road bike. In fact, in the Surly website, they market it as their road bike. The Nicasio, we'll see. I believe my friend has sold it at this point hahah

google maps can sometimes be a crap shoot... it suddenly showed an old american tunnel built pre war for the shelved Aringay to Baguio railway....I've ridden past it so many times in the last 10 yrs and never knew it was there !...wonder what else I've missed around here...
