Good review, I might see if I can buy some today. I'm trying to work out of its 5:42 pm or 5:42 am 😂😂

This is basically what you get in Denmark, the green Danish pilsner at 3.8 is brewed specifically for the UK market. Would be interesting to review them side by side.

This is actually decent, probably the only decent UK brewed mainstream lager . I cant drink IPA or Porter everyday. So when I want something simple . I usually go for this or the Dutch brewed 5% Grolsch or German 5% Becks or If I am feeling fancy a Budvar lol. Nice reviews , you have fast become my favourite YT reviewer along with Bands, Bikes and Booze and Desert Drinkers .

Thanks for taking the time to comment, it’s much appreciated. I’m jealous that you can get a 5% Grolsch, the one I reviewed in a can and 4%. I reviewed a few odds and sods of late, so the next few videos will be a mixed bag, but I’m planning to film a few out of the Belgian beer box (Lidl ) although they are heavy hitters at around 9-10 % so that should be interesting, once again thank you and all the best.

It's quite malty and fruity, less hoppy and less dry/acidic than most! I found the flavour level a bit low, but it's not bad. It's a good change from Stella.
@ivehadworse77134 жыл бұрын
Since they’ve drop the strength of Stella to 4.8 I’d say there’s very little between the two, but what do I know I used to like it when everyone else panned it. Lol, Cheers !

@@ivehadworse7713 This Carlsberg is so smooth, so inoffensive I'd give it to my kids at xmas, Stella is still slightly edgy, especially after a few.... but just my opinion!

It's gone downhill, that export used to be lethal on draught
@ivehadworse77134 жыл бұрын
This was my first export, the other (green tin) was okay, as in, it's okay but....thats what started this channel off really, it was drinkable and something I used to grab out of habit.

Like all UK 'export' strength beers bar a couple like San Miguel and 1664...this is another tax dodging sub 5% mass produced pish. The strong lager market in the UK is dire...fizzy tasteless shite for the breweries to make more ££s. That said this is better than most especially Stella which has been totally ruined. I stick more to ale these days better flavours body and strengths
@ivehadworse77132 жыл бұрын
can't argue with that my friend, spot on ! All the abv drops have nothing to do with the flavour and everything to do with tax and profit. I must admit I'm not a big lager fan, that said I do like the odd San Miguel, I've started to drink a lot of Polish beers, I'll be honest and say I started reviewing them because I thought, wrongly, that they'd be rubbish. so far nearly all better than uk lagers, hands down. They seem to range from 5 - 6% with a few above. For me it's not about getting smashed, although I dare say they''d do the job, but I do like a strong flavour, which they have by the bucket. Cheers and thanks for dropping a comment.
