A metallic finish is because they are using cans. I like the beer personally. It is the same as Holsten Pils

wish the normal green can was 4-4.2% and this was a 5% with less metallic tang would be great then

I’m a fan of Carlsberg Export, the standard Green one is pish (although it’s a nice enough pint in Ireland TBH)… Yeah CE is a nice can for regular easy NO THOUGHT required quaffing...

I live in Austin, TX and Carlsberg is one of the cheapest beers they sell $14 for 12 pint (1/2 liter) cans. It's ok . not great. Sometimes they have Warsteiner or Bitburger on sale for about the same price and there is no comparison. For the price it is ok . .but that is it.

Good review.8 cans make you rough I can tell you that when I can have 10-12 of othef brands with similar abv and feel okay the next day.My go to is brewdog lost lager 10 pack or budweiser 12 bottles.

I have only even tried it once. My first impression was probably affected by my being parched from a long dog walk. I enjoyed the taste, and the sweetness. However, the aftertaste (that sensation a couple of minutes after consuming it I realise that it isn't as good as Stella, or San Miguel! It might be OK for Barbeques and Parties but definitely lacks the WOW factor for "a few with the lads!"

I think the original is a disgrace at 3.8%; however, I’d be be inclined to but the export at a higher percentage. Thanks for another good video 👌🏽

Funny how tastes differ. Simon at Real Ale Craft Beer gave it an 8! I don't mind this beer but its not anywhere near a decent German or Czech imported lager. For me its a 6.5 out of 10 and its usually relatively cheap.

Tbh it’s ok. I would give it a 6. If I chill them down and I’m thirsty it’s not bad. The green can carlsberg is crap. In a supermarket and I fancy a lager I normally go warsteiner, 3 bottles for a fiver or krombacher. I like budvar as well.

It’s always up for debate as it really depends on your own palate and opinion. In theory canned beer is better as the beer is protected from elements such as sunshine and UV light and should taste better

Used to love Carlsberg export but they dropped it from 5% to 4.8% and it now tastes like bin juice 🤢

Not a great lager, right? Has that rough, chemically alcohol taste to it. Much better off with a Budweiser, Stella or Peroni.
