I learn so much watching these games, watching the strategies magnus employs against various setups really helps.

You can do this move with some conditions. The move is called "En passant" (in passing). You can find more info on wikipedia

This is a legal move called "en passant" possible only when a pawn advances two squares from its starting position and when there is an opponent's pawn on an adjacent file next to its destination square (more details on wikipedia)

Because Qc3+ (Qh7,Qh3+ etc.) means an immediate draw. So taking with his king was a better chance to get out of all the possible checks, but in the end it didn't matter.

After 7:41 Qg4, what about King... f8? Then Qf4 and King e8? Or is there a perpetual I can't see?

In sovieth rushia, pawn take becorz he can! :P (actually he can coz of this thing called en passant, where if you move a pawn 2 squares to escape capture by his pawn, he can still capture it as though it just moved one square!)

Re4 pinning the bishop it's not dangerous for Black because the bishop is protected by the d6 pawn; Black would simply move the Qeen to f7 unpinning the bishop and threatening Qxf2 check

@ftworthxxx kramiks style dull and uninteresting? haven't you seen recent games of him?! of course he was famous for going into drawish positions but that was in the past when he was playing (championship-)matches in which it is advantagous to play so. but nowadays - for example at the london chess classics he played absolutely attractive chess!!!
