Frank. She also stated that she is suffering from cancer that’s a battle all of its own. The immune system becomes very weak being exposed to all this bodily fluids, etc. doesn’t help matters in the battle to get well. She’s going to need her family to help support her and a healthier environment. I think it’s a great idea. Maybe some funds can help her get out and then in to a better place, or even help her with some medical or whatever she might need. She is so humble if everybody just pitches in a little to help, a fellow human being is the greatest gift you could give someone. As always, you’re a good man Frank do what you think is right. I’ll help.👏😇❤️

My heart literally cried for her . I'm a grandmother and mother. To not see my grandchildren or children at my home and I'm sick , so so sad and disheartening. She's a beautiful soul and I definitely feel she deserves to live better . She shouldn't have to live with that in her face daily,cleaning up after everyone and the needles daily. And the fact that she does and doesn't get mad ....she definitely deserves to be put into a better place ...to be comfortable to be surrounded by her family and to enjoy her grandbabies! Thank you Frank for all that you do. ..and bringing awareness to this epidemic. I vote ..go fund her !!!!!

So valuable in helping the public get a glimpse into the insidious nature of how it needs strong and structured intervention to facilitate true healing. Thank you for all you do. As a former addict I can say that 1 addict is a 1 man crimewave and when you get hundreds in a small location its going to be rampant, and for the people who live their, its going to be hell on earth literally, that's why you never see family's, kids, these people who live their are prisoners in the home, they are still in lockdown, they cant go to the shop cant get food, medical help, and as an addict its just chasing the next fix, the city officials are negligent in their duties

Seeing all of those people run like that for the samples is crazy. I guess for the dealers it's a smart business practice by handing out a little for free, it garuntees all of the people to keep coming back for more. Give them a taste and watch them keep flocking back everyday.

Prayers for this woman, praying she can beat the cancer and praying she can find another home and praying to all the other Carmen’s having to deal with all this insanity. I lived above an alcoholic and a addict and the stress was beyond crazy . I lost over 30 pounds in about 6 months , I will treat everyone respectfully unless they treat me differently but I mostly mind my business and try to not judge we all have our demons but this city / country gotta do better these drugs are killing generations and ruining so many lives if not directly indirectly , they need to get these drug houses out of biz and keep them out , not just interrupting the day . These dealers giving samples smh so these ppl be hustling all day for the drugs these drug laws need stiffer sentences especially now with the tranq . Wen u see the addicts they all look like they are teenagers regardless of age they look like they stopped growing physically and they def are malnourished 🙏

This is just horrendous! I have also watched other videos of Kensington. I started to watch a live cam of Kensington - it’s on 24/7. I find it unbelievable that nothing is done for the locals as well as the people who are addicted! I cannot accept that the drug addicts choose their way of life once they get sucked in I imagine they find it extremely difficult to get out of the terrible rut they in especially if there is nothing in their lives to give them a good enough reason. 🤷♀️ it must be so damn difficult for all - the residents who I find just so heartbreaking and the addicts. There MUST be something that the state/ government can do?!!

I truly feel bad for Carmen. She just wants to live her life in peace and enjoy her home, but sadly can no longer do either because of how bad things have gotten in her neighborhood. I sincerely hope she is able to get the hell out of Kensington, to somewhere where she can have peace in her life and be able to safely entertain her grandchildren and family again. And I wish for good health for her as well. For an able-bodied human being to live among conditions such as these is bad enough. This poor woman is fighting cancer, yet still finds the strength and resolve, and still takes enough pride in where she lives, to clean up after these people every day. Not only that, she does so with respect in her heart. They say there are angels living amongst us. I would definitely consider Carmen to be one of them. And to the local government, law enforcement, and powers-that-be in Philadelphia: you should all truly be ashamed of yourselves for letting things get this far out of hand in your city. Hopefully one day voters in Philly, regardless of whether they choose to vote Democrat or Republican at the polls, finally wake up and stop voting for the same failed people and policies that are turning a once proud and prosperous city into a wasteland.

Morning times were definitely the worst. I am off now but I still hate the morning. It’s weird because I’m not needing anything now, it’s just after living for years like that my neurons are so ingrained that they still haven’t switched back. I get really anxious and feel nauseated sometimes physically sick. It must be psychological but it’s still very real for me. But I can honestly tell you I never left needles around. I was concious of kids and other people. There is a line that people choose to do. I know that because I always got rid of my needles when I was getting new ones.
@trishfrost1939 Жыл бұрын
Yeah, I was addicted to heroin, then fentanyl, and finally got addicted to “tranq dope”, the shit that these people do in this video. (I had no idea that it had xylazine in it cuz i live in Milwaukee and had no idea what xylazine was till 16 months after I started doing tranq.) I agree that not every addict leaves needles laying around. I definitely never, ever left needles laying around. It’s actually not that hard to not leave needles everywhere. You just put them back in your purse or backpack or whatever. I get that these people are on Tranq dope , and it’s really hard to think straight on that shit (I got really bad psychosis and delusions from it), but it’s absolutely possible to not leave needles everywhere, just gotta make sure they don’t leave them lying around.

So so many things are wrong and it's very unfortunate and sickening to say the least that the Major has done nothing. The Police take and oath to Serve and Protect.. what happened? These poor people feed the revenue off of the government checks and SNAP benefits and no one person has taken note that there's something very very wrong with that? Just disgusting! Most definitely 💯 it’s a wonderful idea. Gif bless you for seeing all she does even tho there making it so much harder on la Señora Carmen. Much love to all . I could not imagine living in that area. Having my children or grandchildren visiting or living with me’ just Horrible & most of the homeless seem not to understand the horrible impact there having not only on their family But their community 😢 there affecting everyone. I would be so upset sacrificing and buying a home just so people could park themselves outside of sidewalk & do drugs,violence,trash, prostitution etc…. And if you want to sell you’ll lose instead of gaining interest. 😢 And seeing people dying due to their drug addiction 😢What a nightmare. Obviously the addicts don’t have the best characters or attitudes due to their suffering and situation, and how they get treated sometimes oh, that just boils up to ugliness that I could imagine would be hard for the owners to be able to communicate with them, and reason with them

Hi Frank! In my opinion the only people that can help are people like yourself. You have experience drug addiction many times. You know what it feels like. The counselors that work in these rehabs, unless they have experience addiction they can’t understand what addiction is. They need people like you, that can help them. I hope l am making sense. I had a sister that died of addiction and aids virus. Before, she died she told me its no one’s fault this is the life she chose. I will never forget those words. She was in rehab many times. We tried everything.
@jamesseabolt5915 Жыл бұрын
That's exactly what I've been saying. Just because you have an education of some kind, unless you've lived addiction you cannot help like the one's who know. We know how it is. I'm recovering clean since 2006 and I've dealt with all kinds of councelor's.
@Luvothrsmor22 Жыл бұрын

My daughter would tell me 'Mom you just don't know'. She's right. I don't know. I watch these videos, see how these people struggle to survive. I'm so many emotions I can't verbalize them all but it's a huge range of emotions. I might not know but I do know this... the decisions these people make don't just affect them. The decision to use, the decision to live like this affects all of us & not just today but tomorrow & in the future too. It's not just on Kensington Ave but all over. They can live their lives anyway they want to. But we have the same right. So the question is what are we going to do about what we do know in our communities?

Before you do anything, you need to find where she wants to move to, if there's a place for her, what it will cost and if she has the means to maintain the cost to live there if she moves. There's no point in spending money if she will lose the new home and possibly be worse off than she is now.

I feel bad for the residents. Can you imagine having to use the emergency room in that area. You're probably waiting hours upon hours because they are constantly flooded with junkies. Expecting a package delivery ? Good luck, odds are it's getting stolen. The crazy thing is, the junkies get their needs catered to while the residents are basically forgotten. I look at this situation the same as I would a rodent infestation. You use whatever means necessary to get rid of them. Otherwise you will forever live in filth and depravity.
