Air temperature sensors are an NTC resistance based sensor and don't actually have a right or wrong polarity.

Connecting the pulse width modulated fan power supply to a mechanical relay...Scotty is definitely old school.

@@STREETMACHINETV Using a relay is mandatory but find yourself a solid state relay to replace the mechanical one as the pulsed power from the ECU will have it turning on and off way faster than they are designed for. Solid state relays use a MOSFET transistor to provide switching duties without any moving parts.

I don't know if someone has mentioned it in another comment but with most air temp sensors I've seen, polarity doesn't matter :) since most of them are just a resistor to ground

I was cringing when you were drilled the panel for fuse box unclamped at trade school saw a mate drilling a similar sort of metal drill bit gripped 20 minutes later microsurgery to reattach the tendinitis in his fingers but love the Volvo

You should get a 6boost manifold, external gate and gtx 3076r gen 2 with. 82AR onces you get the twins tuned. Don't run more than 11psi or the ceramic turbines come off.

A couple important Volvo 240 centric items of interest: 1) the Dana type 30 rear end will surely fail before you need to uprate the fuel hose diameter (might be a good time to have brand new internals and possible cryogenically tempered ring and pinion gears installed with a trusty LSD) 2) it’s a good time to replace the stock heater core (and hoses) before you bolt everything up - these are notorious for exploding coolant all over the interior underneath the dash when they fail
