The point is that: if everything is country music, nothing is. Country music is about storytelling, beautiful vocal harmonies, dobro, mandolin, fiddle, sliding steel, banjo, guitar, and light percussion. (Aka not manufactured/ computerized sound) When anything that talks about trucks, dirt roads, or beer becomes country music, it IS terribly sad.

Actually it’s not a perfect country song if it doesn’t say something about Mamas Prison,Trucks, Trains, Rain or gettin drunk. Well I was drunk, the day my maw got outta prison and I went to pick her up in the rainnnnn but before I could get to the station in my pickup truck... she got ran over by a damned ole train!
