My favorite is the juevos rancheros (and one arepa) like your wife got (although I typically ladle some mild to medium green or red salsa on it. It's always guaranteed to be really fresh, and there's never a huge line for it. The rest of the breakfast options are solid (if not a tad repetitive every day).

Yup the buffet selection was just the essentials, but it was good to have the other options too. We really enjoyed those Huevos Rancheros. Steak & eggs and several other brunch/mdr breakfast dishes were good too. Thanks for the comment! 🙂

Nice to see you back and another great video. It is of interest as I just booked a great casino rate on an 8 day cruise on Carnival Magic in April. This will beour first cruise since the Splendor. That shop was good but was gearing up to head to Singapore/Australia snd had none of the traditional Carnival included options. On our only Carnival cruise, we never made it to the buffet. For breakfast, we really liked the MDR and we would also do the Blue Iguana Are they still charging for the 3rd entree in the MDR?

Thanks JL! 😊 That's nice you got a good rate on your upcoming cruise on the Magic. We think that Carnival is underrated for their food. And yup they are charging for the 3rd entree. MSC is one upping them though by charging for the second entree as we found out recently!

@@TravelTouristVideos We thought that the food and the service on Carnival Splendor was excellent. We did a 28 year hiatus from cruising after a Costa cruise. I wasn't planning on another Carnival cruise ... But at that price, it was impossible to pass on. And it sails the day after we arrive in FLL after a repo cruise from Galveston again on the Regal Princess.

My wife and I have a free 4 day cruise on one of the carnival cruise ships.we’re both a little Leary on going because of the bad press, fights.mediocre food, thoughtless people, kids running a muck, untitled and the list goes on. So we are taking a big leap of faith and hoping it has been blown out of perportation.

I would say it's blown out of proportion. We had a good time on the Venezia, and the food was pretty good. There were a lot of kids of course since it's summer, but other than seeing a few of them run up and down the stairs or sitting on the stairs, they were well behaved overall.

From my experience, that stuff is overblown. The premium dining restaurants are worth the added expense and since you got the cruise for free, it's worth it to check those out. The BBQ, pizza, taco, and burger place are much better than the buffet. For breakfast, I just do a light room service breakfast (coffee, fruit, and a muffin or bagle).

Maybe the food has improved but I actually lost weight being on carnival cruise. I ate when we got off the ship.

Go GO GO. Experience all-you-can and take it for what it is. We get offers for paradise out of Tampa and if it wasn't more to board the dog than take a cruise we'd go once a month. Paradise is a freak show, but we ❤Guy’s Burgers on our first day, omelets at the pool for breakfast. Shrimp tacos for lunch can't be beat and fresh made sandwiches are top notch. Dinner buffet is always better than dining room as you can see what you're getting. Don't pass up this opportunity and if you don't like it , don't go again ! Happy 🛳 ing!

@@TravelTouristVideos we live 5 miles south of Memphis(hate Memphis) and thought of going with Carnival Celebration. Neither of us has ever flown but we’re in our 60’s and just can’t handle driving. Carnival has something called fly to the fun. I was curious if you have ever done this.

Didn't realize they had this program called fly2fun. Sounds like a great way to not have to pay for the flight until the final payment date, plus there's protection in case of flight delays and cancellation. Let us know how it goes if you end up using it!

Vegetarian is not the same as vegan. I am neither, but have to avoid dairy and gluten, and vegetarian can contain dairy. This looks like a lot of extra communication in just 38 days!!! However, this is an excellent video!!

Thank you very much! 😊 Yeah Carnival didn't label anything as vegan here, though if you ask they will point out the vegetarian ones that are vegan or bring out something from the kitchen for you. At the main dining they have more items specifically labeled as vegan.

Yeah there's so much food to try- have to be kind of strategic in terms of what to eat. Helps not to eat too much carbs.

Beware they ration bacon at the buffet. They do not offer bacon every day and they have someone rationing it out. It was so annoying
