In December 2023, Carnival Cruise Line welcomed the Carnival Jubilee, the third vessel in its Excel-class series, joining sister ships Mardi Gras and Carnival Celebration. The Carnival Jubilee has its homeport in Galveston, marking the largest Carnival ship to be based in Texas.

Setting sail with a capacity of 5,400 passengers, the Carnival Jubilee promises two novel ocean-themed zones: Currents and The Shores.
Currents, spanning decks 6 and 7, offers an immersive experience with cutting-edge technology, an underwater-inspired bar, dining venues, live music, and a dynamic ambiance that transforms from day to night and throughout your voyage. Notable additions in Currents comprise Dr. Inks, an underwater-themed bar featuring eight octopus arms crafting ocean-inspired drinks, and the Golden Mermaid, a lounge serving cocktails inspired by precious gemstones and metals, accompanied by live music.
The signature eatery in Currents is Emeril's Bistro 717, led by celebrity chef Emeril Lagasse, delighting guests with Creole cuisine throughout the day. Carnival mainstays, including Carnival Kitchen and Alchemy Bar, will also be part of the Currents experience.
On Deck 8, The Shores draws inspiration from coastal elements like piers, boardwalks, and beaches. A magnificent three-deck-high school of fish art installation connects Currents and The Shores, symbolizing the transition from undersea to the shore.
The Shores comes alive with playful boardwalk-themed designs, featuring innovative dining options like Coastal Slice for pizza and Beach Buns for sandwiches and hot dogs. The Marina Bar offers nautical-themed lounge seating with both indoor and outdoor spaces. Rudi's Seagrill in The Shores elevates the seafood dining experience with offerings like seafood bisque and crab-stuffed lobster tail. Cucina del Capitano invites guests to savor Italian favorites served family-style amidst a rustic Italian-farmhouse atmosphere.
For relaxation and enjoyment, the ship's Summer Landing zone features a pool, whirlpools, The Watering Hole, and a poolside bar. GUY'S PIG and ANCHOR SMOKEHOUSE will serve barbeque, including brisket, sausage, baby back ribs, and dry-rubbed chicken, paired with a delightful selection of craft brews.
The Lido boasts more pools, delectable food choices, and fun experiences, including favorites like Red Frog Tiki Bar and Guy’s Burger Joint.
Lido Marketplace is Carnival's buffet restaurant, open for all meals, offering a vast array of options.
