@@jettec9411 - Only don't use to much. I said about a teaspoon, but may you could start with half and then work up to a full teaspoon. It does work but if you get too much it makes it a little tart.

Maybe you can try adding some vinager, baking powder reacts with acids and make buns more flufy, more like flour buns.

I think those mesh-like molds are meant for bun-shaped standard bread which is NOT still leaking such as a mostly fluid mixture like the one shown here. Stick to standard baking pans (add some baking paper if wanted) or solid silicon molds (put on a standard metal baking tray for ease of transporting to and from the oven).

Great recipe. I made these tonight. I filled up my bullet with pork rinds, but it still looked really runny so I added more. It worked out great because the buns were very firm. I spread it out on parchment paper on a small sheet pan, then after baking I cut them into big squares. This will most definitely be a staple recipe. Thank you!!!!😃👏

My mixture turned out too runny so I added more pork panko, to total one cup of the pork panko. I also added one Tablespoon of active dry yeast (for flavor) and a small teaspoon of apple cider vinegar. They turned out great.

I'm going to try these with a few changes. 1/4 packet yeast, 1/8th cup water, 1/2 tsp honey to activate it. 2 tbsp Whey protean for density. Egg yokes only (not sure on number yet) to reduce the egg flavor and up the fat to protein ratio. *Honey (raw, unfiltered; local if possible), although it gets consumed by the yeast in this case and won't impact the macros, it's is not sugar and is not treated the same way by the body. It has tones of benefits and can pass on carnivoreish or even strict carnivore lifestyles if not overindulged. I have 1 to 2 tbst total a week used in baking and on my carnivore waffles/Soul bread french toast.

Off topic, and no where near as quick to prepare as your recipe, I made soul bread today and subbed in 1 cup pork rinds for the 2/3 cup portion of the whey, did the 1 packet yeast in 1/4 cup water and subbed beef gelatin for the xanthan gum to keep it more carnivore. It turned out very nice, almost passing as bread rather than sponge cake, but definitely more savory than bread from the rinds. I think the recipe with my subs but sans pork rinds would work well for waffles, buns, muffins, etc. (I made a waffle and 6 muffins with leftover batter; cinnamon/stevia muffins, and they were great despite the pork rinds). Closest thing to bread I've been able to make that passed for Carnivore. Going to make french toast with the bread to kick off my eating window tomorrow. :o)

I found them in the ethnic part of our grocery store and they are just pork rinds and salt. The ones in the chip aisle had msg and other garbage.

Have you tried the pork rind breading that uses egg white powder and gelatin? It is phenomenal. 60g pork panko, 40g egg white powder and 1 tsp gelatin powder. That will coat about 1 to 1 1/2 lbs chicken tenders.

@@ketocarnivoreishcrys3446 I love using them as an alternative. But they don’t agree with me cooked. Not sure why either. Our bodies are very complicated when it comes to trying to figure out foods with it. Some people’s bodies have different effects with carbs, sugar and toxins in the foods we eat. I guess that’s why we have to know our body and listen to it when consuming foods. It does let us know when we consume a food it does not like. ♥️
