Carnivore Diet Electrolyte Jello Recipe

For an option that is flavorful without any sweeteners, I use herbal teas instead of plain water. Blueberry, ginger, etc all make good jello.

You can use glycine (amino acid) as a sweetener if you like. And NAC (N Acetyl Cysteine-amino acid) as a sour taste. I'm planning on trying right now. I will put some glycine in the gelatine/water mix and after I take them out of their molds I will roll them in the NAC. Should taste like sweet and sour gummies. Don't quite know the ratio to make gummies yet though, I'm going to Google!😄

That is very good as nac and glycine are very synergistic, they help your body release a lot of glutathione

It's such a good idea! I think I would add more salt and break it into smaller size and just swallow it instead of chewing it. I really can't stand the taste of plain salt, but it's much more palatable when it's in jello!

The flavored Re-Lyte has stevia which isn’t good for people with SIBO. And citric acid which is probably corn based. This is a great idea though, I’m going to try it with unflavored. Thank you EDIT: Their citric acid is from fermented cassava.

Thanks for sharing! I always use the unflavored because at least at this point in my journey, I don't want any additives but in comparison to other brands their flavored electrolytes are fairly "clean". I'm not familiar with fermented cassava. Is that better than most citric acid?
