Also, amongst many favorite skits, the Martha Ray hilarious facial expressions besides dialog on 'As The Stomach Turns' spoof skit with her a dance hall girl marrying rich guy who died (not being pushed in the river, lol) then engaged to Mr Wagenr's lost son character! But topping everything is 'Went with the wind' spoof and your 'saw it in the window...' gown with the curtain rod as you walked down the curved staircase total legendary AWESOME, and just thinking of that here has me chuckling visualizing that scene & dialog & all the cast including Dianna Shore! Thank you again Ms Carol for the integrity, morality, comedy you provided the world!!! I'm wishing you many blessed years of health as you reach 90 and many years beyond!! She is so kind and genuinely nice....nothing at all fake about her. I had the opportunity to do two phone interviews with her this past year and she puts you completely at ease. You literally feel like you're talking to a good friend because her voice is so familiar. On one of our interviews her cell phone was breaking up and I had my own real life "Mrs. Wiggins" moment when all I could hear was her saying "Hello? Hello, Hello? just like the intercom sketch. I treasure that memory of being able to make HER laugh after all of the countless times she's made me laugh over the years. She truly IS a good friend to us all. God Bless you, Carol. And Happy Birthday! May the next 90 years be just as spectacular as the first was!

if I ever got the opportunity to talk to her I would ask her about one sketch that I remember from my childhood, that no one else remembers. I remember Carol was working in an office like a bank or something, she's sitting at a desk and there is a row of other desks with other ppl working at them. Carol is wearing a BIG curly blonde wig.... at the end of the sketch something happens like a burglar alarm goes off and chaos breaks out, the blonde wig is pulled off Carol and she's wearing another wig under it when his short and dark. I used to try and put 2 wigs on my head when I was little imitating her 😆 I just wish I had some info on this sketch . I feel like it had to be from season 11, since that's the one they rarely show now, but when I was a kid in the 80s, they did show it on TBS

Man... this woman defined my childhood. It was her and Lucy. I wasn't old enough to see her show when it originally aired, but I watched it on late night reruns, like I did with I Love Lucy... another woman who helped shape me and my personality.
