Our world has lost a great comedian in Tim Conway. The Carol Burnett Show had some of the best skits ever produced. The dentist skit is one of the best and now I find on KZbin they're releasing the full of skits including portions that were edited out for television. So far the ones I've watched are so funny I'm putting them on my Facebook page and warning people not to eat while watching them for fear they'll choke to death laughing!

I watched this show as a kid and remember waiting for the exact moment Conway would jump track and leave the cast wondering what he was going to do. The elephant story is a perfect example. Tim started to ad-lib and everyone was like "oh shit!" here we go, and then Vickie dropped the perfect bomb.

I love the elephant sketch (elsewhere on KZbin) where as he is telling this preposterous tale of Siamese elephants joined at the trunk. Carol Burnett and Lyle Waggoner are dead silent trying not to fall apart and Tim is cracking himself up with each new line. Vicki, as Mama, is stone-faced and expressionless. Finally, he pauses for a few, Carol tries to say a line, only gets out a strained "Mama", and Vicki says, in character, "are you sure the little asshole's through?"
