The kids decided to record this while their parents were on vacation so it was recorded in their home studio in Georgia (USA). Abigail the drummer and her husband actually live in Minnesota now, so she recorded her part at home there and it was edited in, that’s why you don’t see her singing with her sister and brothers. They recorded this last year, they just released God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen as their Christmas song this year.

I’ve been following them since they dropped their Dio cover of Holy Diver. Liliac is incredible; especially for a group of siblings. Their family is from Romania (I believe) and Liliac means BAT. That’s where the term ‘fangs’ came from for ‘fans’.

The parents were born in Romania, they met in the US after their families immigrated. The kids were all born in California.

Liliac always kills on covers an there songs as well, you need to do a deep dive on these young adults, there so good. Oh an Melo can do whisper screams and some serious high notes guy

They are. All siblings are in the band and Dad is their manager. The drummer recently gave birth and they did replace her. I’m not sure if it’s permanent or not.

@@Kristina-jf4hdshe hasn’t given birth yet, the baby is due in early March. She toured with them during the summer and recorded God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen before leaving for maternity leave.

Great réaction Melodys vocals are insane this is the tip of the iceberg checkout there original synphonic metal song Btreathe and there Newest Christhmas Song God bless ye merry gentlemen and yes they have introduced the flute to metal.

Was very interesting today, didn't know the band or the song. She can sing well and the drummer was cool. The video is good for me, although the fluttering back and forth irritates me. Thanks Viking for a new day in the Advent calendar.
