We may no longer have good entertainment on television, but at least we have it here on YT thanks to these uploads. Who would have thought back then that these shows would continue to uplift all these decades later! Thank you!

Variety shows with excellent performers and actors should be brought back.. I can't believe that someone in studio production has not ventured into this area again.

THANK YOU! A lot of these complete episodes have not been seen, in decades. One of the greatest thrills of my life was being able to see Carol do her one-woman show about her career and her famous TV series. It made me cry, to see her, when she came out on stage, here in Denver. These old Carol Burnett shows are comedy gold. I just love her. I wrote to her, several years ago, and she signed a picture via mail, for me.

It’s interesting but, I never heard people complaining so much about making political comments in entertainment like they complaining since the trump administration. And entertainment has been very political all the time. Artists have been involved in civil disputes since the civil rights movement. But somehow since the trump administration the right gets very itchy with any critical activity.

John Davidson had a long career. In the 1970's he was considered "square". John was very handsome and clean-cut at a time when music was changing. The new stars had long hair, and a hippy look and sang rock and roll. I think that is why John never became a bigger star. He was a successful performer nevertheless.

Carol Burnett should have shown the proper respect for Mickey Rooney by giving him top billing, ahead of John Daivdson, at the beginning of the show, and by allowing him to be the first to sign her autograph book at the end.
