Carolina Crown Trumpet Audition 2016

As a percussionist, I have no idea what's difficult and what's not on trumpet, except all my trumpet friends go "OH DANG!" at high notes and fast notes, so I'll appreciate that part of the video. Also, your sound quality is really clear and enjoyable to listen to, so yay! My favorite part of the video was the choreography and "Swimming with sharks" part, they literally made me laugh out loud at how amazing they were. :D Also, I can't even begin to imagine what all those passing cars were thinking at some guy walking around an empty parking lot with a trumpet, but it must've been awkward to film that. :D I actually got to see Crown 16 live in Campbellsville, KY and your rehearsal in Berea KY (aka middle of nowhere, really green grass, smells like weed and incense) and you guys sounded AWESOME!!!!!

Quick question- did you get accepted from this video only or did you go to a live audition also?

Payton Abner they don't give spots over video so I had to go there, but I never auditioned. Based on this video I got out on lead and then had and On the move assignment and that's it. I never performed my audition. I got a spot the first camp I went to.
