I lost respect for her when she did her "apology" when she first got gentle criticism from children of former family vloggers. Her skits could have been so potent had she been more thoughtful.

Making mistakes I get. I am a shit storm. It's how she treats people while making excuses to continue harming marginalized communities that she isn't a part of that really really really pisses me off.

And another thing I just processed is when I pointed out as someone with a speech impediment it's very harmful to see you impersonate this as it is not accurate representation her response was to list her mental health conditions then ask me to disclose mine. I did in the moment without thinking cause was reacting but after processing.... 1. I shouldn't have to disclose all of my medical history for you to not discriminate against me, 2. if you don't have the disability you are impersonating your other disabilities aren't a shield for it, 3. if you don't have the disability you are talking to someone who has the disability being discussed, you being disabled too doesn't mean you have lived experience on what it's like for the disability you don't have, 4. in hindsight it feels like she was more focused on playing oppression olympics than working on antidiscrimination, 5. in the story that I clipped from Soft Scorpio she basically admits she uses this series for entertainment which by definition is admitting to making fun, 6. between the story I stitched and how I was treated I feel she is more focused on performative activism than dismantling oppression because she cared more about her storyline than how people are harmed by her, and last but not least 7. how the fuck are you asking me what does disability rights have to do with Palestine? Have you not been paying attention to how disabled people are targeted in Palestine and how what's happening in Palestine is disabling them? Holy fuck.

@@deafchild Ugh I'm sorry she did that to you. It just shows that she's unwilling to have an open conversation or consider how her actions impact others. Especially since she keeps making the same mistake with multiple people. I think she's grasping for any justification to keep making content that she's profiting greatly from. Money is the driving force behind it. I'm so sorry. She's trash.
