Can you tell one echo to control the other? Im planning on having and echo dot in my garage while the regular echo is in the main house. Is this even possible? I would like to turn on my devices in my man cave/ garage before entering. Thanks

To make calls to an echo in another house hold do you have to have an Amazon prime account.

btcsys. No. Alarms are specific to the device on which they are set. That way a person setting one alarm doesn’t bother everyone in the house at 5 am, for example.

Can you drop in on a device that is not on the same network? I.e. A DOT was assigned to Paul's account, could Caroline's Kitchen Echo drop in on Paul's Dot versus having to Call?

excellent demo!! very impressed! please can you do a video showing how to do multi room music? I find that you can't create more than 1 group of echos....also, once you create a group, I can't seem to play music on just one device at a time if I want, it always then defaults to playing on that group, until I change the settings in the app, which is inconvenient if you want to change group configuration frequently

I am having an issue and would love some help.. I set up an echo with a connect and a dot at my mother in laws (she is 94 and going blind) and had to use my cell phone to set them up and let it access my contacts on my cell phone so she can have a contacts list for phone numbers. It works great at mom's but I got home and found that my land line no longer works and when she gets a call it also notifies me that there is a call coming in. We live about 4 miles apart and have two different land line phone numbers and two different internet wireless accounts. I tried switching the account to my husbands but since they are linked together that didn't work. Her connect/Echo seems to be overriding my land line phone and also lets me get each call she is getting. Anyone have any suggestions? Thanks for your time.

I had trouble playing music on Spotify on 2 Alexas. I tried your method of muting the fat one over the small one and still didn't work. The other alexa stopped playing when I started playing my own list.. I hate that.

you should mute it when you say "Alexa" so we can watch the video and not have our Amazon devices going off while we are watching it. We all know what you are saying so does my echo device it picks it up and starts to respond.

Or another option it's for you to change the wake-up word ( echo, Amazon) on your device so the video will not interfere. I'm just trying to help.
