I hardly get through a whole bottle of conditioner. So it surprises me how many empties you have. I also only wash my hair every 2-3 days. Also conditioner makes the tub so fripping slick and I just recently fell in the shower & broke my ankle. Super cautious now... So enjoy your videos Caroline.

Hi Caroline, have you considered using a hair treatment in place of conditioner? I have been doing this for a couple of years now and my hair feels so much softer. You don't need to leave the treatment in for a ridiculous amount of time just use it like you would use a conditioner. My favourite treatment is the Aveda Damage Remedy treatment. Caroline, have you tried the IGK Mixed Feelings Leave-In Blonde Drops? No parabens, sulfates, phthalates. You can add them to your shampoo, conditioner, foam, oil, leave-in conditioner etc. I prefer to mix them with the leave-in products. Super easy to use, they tone down the blonde and you can choose the intensity. I find the IGK products in Sephora (here in Canada). Everything I’ve used from Amika is really good. Particularly the dry shampoo, texture spray and bombshell blow dry spray. The CT Hollywood Flawless Filter has been one of my favourite products in 2018. I use it as a primer or dot some on then buff it in with a small amount of stick foundation. Bloody love it! You finally got me to try LipLift Max, and hat's off. Best lipgloss I have ever tried in my life. Most comfortable. Not sticky. Looks exactly like I want it to look. Like the minty-ness. Sheer rose is the perfect nude for me. Amazing. I bought the last two tubes of it that Target had. They were on clearance which makes me very concerned that they're eliminating the whole Pixi line from the store. I hope not!

I am about to use up my first of both the Hollywood Flawless Filter and Kopari Lip Glossy. They're both amazing. I'd been using mac strobelight as a primer for years, but found there was a foundation or two it didn't work well under, flawless filter is so much better, I wear shade 3 though I probably should switch to two for winter, I won't.

You should definitely try Olaplaex or Smartbond as a treatment. My hair was very damaged due to bleaching and this has really helped repair it. Give it a go and see if you like it. Love your videos and channel :) xx

hello Caroline, THANK YOU again for sharing your skin care experience!! I'm learning a lot from you! I'm "retinolling" too, and I use Algenist, GENIUS - the Liquid Collagen, and I find it really excellent! More efficient in this situation than the Clarins double serum or the Drunk Elephant peptide mosturisers, or the Niod hyaluronic acid. I discoverd it last summer, when I travelled to LA for the first time in my life, and at some point my skin became so dry, that I desperately looked for a miraculous product, and Sephora made some advertising for this product, so I tried it and.. I loved it! As for eye cream, I unfortunately bought (during the same trip) Tata Harper Elixir serum for the eyes (not the cream), and now I'm hooked (you understand my pain when you see the price..)! If you've ever tried these two products, I would be curious to know your opinion!? I wish you an excellent New Years Eve and all the best for 2019! Love!

Have you tried the trader Joe's hyaluronic serum from your last US trip? I use 1% tretinoin & TJ hyaluronic serum has never strung. I also use it on my lips. It's the only thing that keeps chapped lips at bay. Weird I know. Thanks

For your consideration when doing your upcoming retinol video - For those of us that are at the start of our retinol journey (I am 45 and only beginning to see lines), is it productive to stay a bit slow on the retinol? I’ve been listening to you and Steph talk about the harshness of your retinol journeys recently and since I’m not in need of a drastic change but looking forward, I wonder if I can build up slowly and not need to go thru the peeling and soreness stage? I guess the bottom line of my question is this - what are the benefits of going hard on retinol when the awful stage is so awful?
