When I think of strong, powerful women who are confident in themselves and don't care what other people's opinions are of them, I think of Helen Mirren, Grace Dent and Caroline Hirons. You two together made for a fab podcast and I loved every minute of it. Grace has long been a favourite of mine so to listen to you chat was a real treat.

I can’t tell you why I suddenly decided today that I desperately needed to see if there were any Grace Dent interviews on KZbin. I have always enjoyed her features on Masterchef and heard her talking about her comfort food book to Lorraine Kelly. But somehow I wanted to hear her talk a little more about herself and career. And then I found your channel, Caroline. And what a gift this podcast is. You have no idea how so much of what you both shared impacted me. I laughed and I cried. I hurt my neck nodding in agreement so much. You are bold and brave and hilarious and lifted what has been a horrendous and lonely week (in a very tough old life) into one that has me feeling comforted and uplifted. Thank you both so much for your honesty, your humour, your obvious rapport and your generosity of spirit. You might not believe me if I said that it has been life-saving. Maybe that sounds flippant. But it has been and I will listen to it every time I feel most in need. I have subscribed and will enjoy your many podcasts from now on and that rapid-fire wit of yours and your approach to life! But maybe just have Grace in every fortnight!! I don’t think you’d run out of things to say! Thank you so much. Xxxx

My favourite so far Caroline, as a 49 year old who’s really struggling to cope with menopause & also navigating life without my mum, I found this so relatable xx Really like & respect Grace, she’s so down to earth & ‘human’… thank you both for sharing this and I’m ‘glad you had this chat’!!! 🩷
