I had the same feeling about going on medication for high cholesterol. I didn't even get as far as getting a prescription. The doctor said you should be on medication for this, but a voice in my head said, " No, you shouldn't." I told the doctor I wanted to try changing my diet first. ( and doing some research. ) I was able to get it down to a level they considered acceptable with diet and exercise, but it took 12 months. It has crept back up again a bit but stayed at the same level for 3 years. I'm not convinced it's a one size fits all with cholesterol.

Try using niacin (b3 vitamin, the flushing kind). It raises HDL and lowers LDL, and if you want to know more there is a book on Niacin by an orthomolecular medicine Dr. Just google this. Good luck!

no carbs for awhile, my a1c was 5.1, it is also bad with insulin because its too much stuffing, i think, type 1 got reversed with pure protien i heard

Caroline, few years ago I had a dream at night. In my dream I was reciting a poem. When I woke up I was saying it loud the lasts words of the poem . I quickly wrote it down not to forget. It said : “There are millions of torches in the world. There is a torch for each person. You take care of your own torch .”So each time I find myself in the dark, I remember that I have my own torch . The light of the torch despite whatever happens in the world will always stay lit . Grace is not easy to come by, Caroline. I've experienced a very bad situation that required grace, on my part because a wrong health decision was performed on me. I had to get extra help and feel forgiveness toward the person who caused it. This required great faith and strength through an extremely painful time. Yes. I refuse medication for autoimmune sjogren’s , for arthritis, a rod in my neck in 1998 for broken C 7, medication for osteo. I will be a healthy 80, the lord willing, in June. I meditate, do yoga, walk, a tiny bit of weights. Looking into roller skating. I do take hormone replacement and when I stopped my arthritis came back. I will never stop again. Been on HRT since I was 42. Bless you. Thank you. 🩷

On this day last year i started his protocol. I feel brand new. But everyone asks me what I've been doing too but no one else has tried it lol. For arthritis I have to say it has to work because you have zero inflammation. Zero. Pain free. It's wonderful but it's also a pain in the ass hahahaha. Just give it time and it gets a flow. @@MHwellbeing good to see that your putting your toes into the water and testing it out. I understand there is a lot of random information out there and it's difficult to trust who knows what, and what is real. The reason I began to personally trust this protocol is because I had noticed within two days of using it, that I was feeling just a little bit better. Afterwards I read into his background information more substantially. The author of these books, takes no personal credit. He allows himself to be guided as a writer through his spiritual connection the source energy. Therefore having an understanding of how this guidance works, I knew wholeheartedly I could trust the path I was on. And thankfully I am now free of chronic illness. If you are a follower of Caroline Myss, she too, you will know, uses that same guidance to tell you what is wrong with you. My suggestion to you, is to follow the actual protocol of his for 3 months without bending the rules, and allow yourself the opportunity to heal, and continue to heal, beyond that 3 month period.

Yes! Most of the folks I know and several strangers I have chatted with the last month or two have all said the same thing - the spirit of the season just didn't show up this year. I thought it was just me at first, because I have had a lot of deaths in my family and 3 of them were in 2023 with the last one coming on the winter solstice, so I was sitting with my grief and just assumed that is why I hadn't felt much seasonal spirit even from Halloween on (which is weird for me) and then that last death of course distracted me the rest of December. Yet I cannot explain how friends, neighbors, and strangers who had none of that grief would have felt the same way and be unable to point to any cause. They are all just mystified by why they couldn't summon the usual energy or cheer. Many barely decorated or skipped it this year for the first time ever. Others muddled through to keep up the appearance, but said they didn't really feel it. I just had this overwhelming sense of... well, you know all the old holiday movies where the hero has to "Save Christmas" or become/rescue santa? It felt like this year the hero didn't manage to save it - that is the best way I can think to describe it. And for context, most of the folks I talked to have been on a news diet since about 2021 or 2022, and so have I. So we are aware of events, but not watching scenes regularly.

I told my family that the New Year should be about entertaining joy when you are in the presence of it because many feel of us were raised to be undeserving of it. In terms of DISCERNMENT (wisdom) it is bestowed on one as a gift from God. True discernment starts with prayer. Just like Solomon requested wisdom, the believer should ask the Spirit (Holy) for guidance and discernment. God smiles on those who ask for it. “The Lord looks down from heaven on the children of man, awaiting on those who seek after God” (Psalm 14:2).
