You and Emma do an amazing job with your vlogs. Both of you keep coming up with creative ways to show how much fun reading is, and I love how personable and insightful you two are. Thank you for encouraging us to read.

Willow is such a young lady 💕 Pessoa's Book of Disquiet is one of my favorite possessions, filled with such gems in a wonderful hardback edition The illustrator Raymond Briggs passed away recently. He created the wonderful story The Snowman which I think you would really appreciate.

Hey Carolyn. Natasya here. Been following you & Emmie. Really enjoyed these wonderful reading vlogs. Love Willow & Calcifer. ❤

Wouldn't it be great fun to do a video featuring both Calcifer and Willow?! Maybe a discussion on pet-themed book? We also have a Cocker-KCC mix. Same coloring as Willow, but looks more Cocker than KCC. Her name is Bella and she loves watching your videos with me!

Hi, Carolyn, congratulations to you and Emmie! A new list of reading wishes for me… and as usual, I didn’t have a piece of paper nearby and used an old envelope… I really have a collection of those. 💌 I’m a night owl, too and now, after retiring, I’m worse as ever. 🦉Willow is so good for you, forces you to move in between… Greetings from Germany, Monika❣

Ok....this is weird.. I had not heard of Flush by V. Woolf until I saw this video yesterday. Just now I am listening to Trust by Hernan Diaz and one of the characters is reading..Flush by V. Woolf. I actually gasped. I think it's a sign that I need to put it on my list of books to read..

What a wonderful video!!! I really want to read Flush now😅 And i can recommend you a book about dog by a Russian author that is a little bit sad, but gorgeous at the same time. I don’t really know if there is a translation of it, because it’s not a classic, but a modern book. It is called “White Bim black ear” by Troepolsky. And there is a good film about that book, that i suppose should have a subtitles at least)) I think it will be an interesting experience to watch it in Russian🙃

I have Flush - it’s not as nice an edition as yours though. I might need to pick that up. Although it might rip me up a bit too much as my Labrador is getting very old now and starting to really struggle on his legs so I know realistically we’ve not got much time left with him. But his heart is still willing and he’s wagging his tail still so we’ll keep going until he lets me know he’s had enough. I’ve been a vet nurse for 19 years now and it never gets any easier seeing pets at the end of their lives! Sorry, that was quite depressing- just to lighten the mood I also have a cat called Pumpkin who will be 1 year in September and he’s full of mischievous energy at the start of his life, just like your Miss Willow xx

I think the reason why reading for 24 hours is harder than staying up late is because reading is more exhausting for the brain then let’s say watching a movie. At least for me.

Chekhov's gun, more like Chekhov's dog; every time you see an animal in a book they are more than likely going to pass away by the end of that book. (In relation to Flush)
