You're a real person, living in a real space. Until the pandemic, I was in interior decorating, and it's so full of wasteful ignorance in a desire to be perfect. If my clients only knew I got my coffee table, oh excuse me, my cocktail table, beside a dumpster 😂. If you're happy, that's all that matters!

"You need a new R.V." no surprise in our disposable society. I wish those people would finish that thought. If you got a new R.V., someone would hopefully get your old R.V., then you'd have to tell that person "You need a new R.V.", and so on, and so on, and so on. At some point, a person is satisfied with what they have. Thanks for being that person. It's a lesson for us all. P.S. LOVE that curtain!

Noonie, yep, exactly on all points. It always amazes me to see such comments; "it's not perfect, throw it away and get a new one" . It's no wonder our landfills are full of junk. Hope you're well!

So true! That’s what my roommate says, “Get a new one. Get something better.” Ugh! I’m using what I have for now, an SUV. Once I leave for good with just me and my little dog, Gracie, my life will be so much simpler. Away from the Negative Nellies - no offense to Nellie. Then I’m working towards the actual RV. I’m saving for that.

Lots of great ideas Carolyn! I just got a 2001 26' class C that I plan to live in full time and it needs a lot of updating and storage solutions. I've been eager to get on the road, but with Covid out of control, I decided to reconsider my plans and just hunker down for a few months in an RV park. I will use this time to fix her up and make her into more of a home. :) p.s. I'll use your link for Amazon. I'm sure I'll need a ton of stuff!

I love that you like the freezer/fridge you have - I cannot imagine living without mine either, especially the freezer part. 3. How kewl that you use the RV shower for the same thing I do mine -- hanging storage and dirty laundry! Yes! 4. Does your front passenger seat swivel around to use as another seating space? If so, could you do another way of curtaining for cold/heat control or is that cab area just too much to keep modulated? Thanks for some nifty ideas! Stay well.

You said to let you know ideas for replacement of plastic bags: this isn't a perfect idea but what if you use the trash for your bags. Things that come in big bags use it to put smaller trash in. For example if you buy a big container of toilet paper use thales plastic around it as a bag and put your other trash in it. Save Amazon boxes and use that as a bag. You still would use plastic bags for some stuff but you could reduce it. Just a thought.

Hey your awesome! I just got an rv ! Probably too large and too much on fuel but I got a class A 35 foot rv a bounder ! I’m super excited to hit the road ! Now idk how far I will go and how awesome but I definitely want out of here where I’m at ! I’ve did phone rep for years till they banned it in my state but I hope to find a remote job as after Covid it seems a lot of jobs have opened to Covid! But I’m so ready to be free and hit the road and enjoy life ! So I wanted to mention you had asked about garbage options now I do use grocery bags lol it’s saving like you said in a way cause they will be thrown anyways but I wanted to mention they make a collapsible zipper fabric trash cans that you can take your small bags and put in there and it’s made for camping! It’s supposed to keep all the smells of food or waist to keep critters and bears away ! A lot of people will use them outside for different uses as they put good food in them and keep them zipped so bears aren’t attracted to your living space area but they come in different sizes and they aren’t too much to buy ! I wished I had the name of mine but I honestly don’t know where it is just now it’s packed away for when I do need it ! But if your boonedocking for days this would help so much and it’s fabric lined so plus like I said you can take it down and it’s held up by wire as a spring lol pretty neat idk if you’ve seen that but also oh your snaps that came undone I’m sure uou dont mind but if you’d ever like you can buy a cheap kit with the pliers and everything to help redo your snaps lol just was thinking it’s easy really and very cheap ! Also my I ask how do you find land that’s okay to stay at ? I noticed you mentioned bob so I’m sure being around other people living this way they would give tips ! But is there any at all tips to find areas to go to and stay ! That’s why I know I will have to get a smaller rig before long cause mines to big and won’t fit I. A lot of places ! But have you ever had any weird situations where you didn’t seem safe !? Or have you ever been broken down before? My rv isn’t new and I wanna learn all that I can to be independent as I can to live ! That’s my challenge! Ty hon for sharing your home it’s beautiful

Very cosy and comfortable looking for both you and Sadie. I had a 30 ‘ trailer that I towed and it was a pain trying to keep it clean. Since you mentioned at the beginning of your video that you like to go through your stuff every year or so, how about a video on that? With the new year only about 3 weeks away, it would be a good time to go through your stuff & declutter & purge stuff you no longer need or use. I think that would make an interesting video & a great way to start the new year. It may just inspire the rest of us to do the same! 😏

Paige, interesting thought. Not sure literally airing my clutter and garbage to the world is something I want to do. I mean a person needs to retain some privacy. :-)

I've used grocery bags for garbage for 20+ years, I save $ on buying garbage bags. I do have to get them from friends and family since I use my own bags when shopping. Living alone I usually only have one small bag a week, I do a lot of recycling. I think what your doing is great...

That was great! Thanks for inviting us in :) I love how homey/comfy your tiny home on wheels looks. I think the older RVs have so much more storage than the newer ones. Trash... I think you have to use a plastic bag if it's for extended periods of time. I have a stainless compost bucket and I also throw my fruit and veggie scraps into my composting toilet and cover with peat moss and food grade diatomaceous earth so I dont have little mats or fruit flies. I tried using biodegradable bags but they disintegrated in about 5 days. I guess my stuff isnt on my counter/table cuz I do lots of crafts so it's all stuffed in drawers or under my bed. I love you stuff all over cuz it does make it look homey/lived in ❤

I use produce Bags but my favorite if I can’t dump it for a few days is empty yogurt containers cottage cheese containers ice cream I love ice cream containers which is all plastic like the plastic thing your dog is chewing on you can put wet food in there and it won’t smell to your bag around it just to make sure in case there’s a spill

Regarding the Plastic bags for rubbish, I found some bin bags that are supposed to be compostable and biodegradable but look just like a normal plastic bag I use them in my bin in the kitchen. Don’t know If you can get them , but here in the Uk I get them from morrisons supermarket, or Home bargains store

OmG I cannot believe it's been that long. I just bought my new Jeep renegade, getting ready for my great escape. Next on my purchase list. Wee Roll trailer. I really hope when I come out there someday we can meet.
