As ever a great video from Carl - he has rekindled this 68 yr old man’s interest in fishing! I watch all of his stuff and look forward to the India trip film soon

Mate, I had 110kg of boilies, particules, pop-ups , and pellets, and the buckets were taken from us, and we got 100€ fine per person. 3 of us. This was 2023. It was from La Harve port. Absolute nightmare we had to find a tackle shop a buy all our bait again. It really put a downer on the whole trip and we're not sure we would go to france again fishing for carp. Great informative video by the way 👌

It all seems like common sense, but actually it is really nice, as you say, to have someone talk about that first hand experience. It really will be the small things like extra batteries or a wet weather coat that could be the difference of a great time or a more annoying one. One other thing I actually really liked, was about maybe taking on a challange just outside of your comfort zone rather than probably the more typical "lets go hunt that 60-70lb carp" straight away. That has definately given me some food for thought! Thanks Carl.

Hi Carl I have been fishing in France since 2005 and through Covid up to right now ! A couple of points I would make are these ! Euro tunnel and Dover port are well used to seeing fisherman and are quite relaxed ! But don’t take live bait I.e. maggots a real no no as flys can spread disease ! Particle is usually ok but check the site rules ! Ports from Caen onwards tend to be stricter and I have heard them take, sweetcorn, hemp etc but never happened to me ! Local French supermarkets are great and go to a complex first ! Showers and toilets count for a lot ! For me use local pellet and bollies are fish are usually fed on these in quieter times ! If there is a cafe on site use it ! But use the local supermarkets too, I normally take a French bread option for breakfast skip lunch and then have a dinner !! 🤞🤞🤞🤞

Please make a vidoe about carp fishing in big rivers.. river with good flow .. where it is very hard to stick your bait at one place.. i searched the internet for this video and barely found two or three videos about it
@karlmoule6028Ай бұрын
Probably because you won't find carp feeding in the fast flowing part of a river, normally the slacks,slower flowing parts
@carpingoffagainАй бұрын
Decathlon usually have all the decent bait pretty cheap i think 💯🎣

Insightful video but I would love to know how you fish in 18m - 20m of water in a massive reservoir and actually catch get a bite!
@JB12132Ай бұрын
Not the same as finding a large pond with the biggest carp in it. Would be interesting as you say.
@fishingtutorialsАй бұрын
If you are fishing for carp, don't fish in 18-20m of water. haha Instead find shallows (less than 3m) and fish them in spring. :)

I used to fish a lake called Mitre at Bishops Bowl, UK. It was about 100 foot deep, most fish were caught in the margins around the reeds/rushes. It was backfilled a few years ago though, so nowhere near as deep now. Pink popups are always good in deeper water.

@@NeneValleyFishing Bishops Bowl, Warwickshire? I used to fish there a few decades ago if thats the case! Was a hotspot for jetskis as I remember.
