2:41 setup for the sharper carper, 4:48 he totally fucked up, but at 5:36 he even topped that. I guess after fishing he got his medications and had to wear a straight jacked.

Easy bro How long do you roughly stay in a swim without a bite I love your style of fishing but I never know how long to stay in the swim so I always end up staying in the same swim and blanking lol

We all do dumb shit sometimes. Like having the drag to tight. That’s how we learn. Guarantee he won’t do that again. Maybe just use the drag. And forget about the back reel crap.

The first fish almost took the rod and reel in if it wasn't for the pod stopping it,loosen the drag a bit more too prevent this again but congrats on the origanal.

What’s the fashion with fishing so tight you loose your rod leaving a fish no only trailing line but a bloody rod and all there’s not snags in them lakes don’t get why you’d leave the clutch so tight to let it do that such a donkey move
@davestone29392 жыл бұрын
It’s called bad angling.
@drcarp73772 жыл бұрын
Fishing tight isn’t the problem. Not securing your rod properly is. It’s become the fashion these days. You see it all the time on these videos. I don’t understand it. In fact, on the syndicate I fish, you would get banned! The proper set up is to have your butt ring on the rod in front of the alarm. This means the rod can’t move forward, unless the bank sticks give way. Then you have to secure both your front and back sticks, and have a gripper type butt rest. You certainly don’t rest your rod butts on the grass and have your rods with the butt ring on the lake side of the alarms, and set the rods at launch trajectory! They don’t move when you do it properly, even on a tight line!

@@drcarp7377 what I do mate I look my rods in with back rests there’s plenty on the market
@drcarp73772 жыл бұрын
@@VALIS538 Yes there is. But lots of the vloggers either don’t know, or are deliberately fishing that way because it makes for exciting footage. The thing is, they are so influential. Take the current trend for fishing short rods. Now, I have some short 10ft rods for stalking under trees, etc. that’s what they are designed for. Close in work. So I mount a Shimano 10000 bait runner on them. Even with that set up, I can easily cast 50 yards if I chose too. But you find these vloggers, fishing a set of 3 short rods, with mini big pit reels. Wtf is that all about?…..lol! So then I was at Bluebell, and I bumped into the usual copy cat real tree camo undies wannabe, and he has 3 dwarf rods and his big pit reels. So I ask him has he had any luck. “No mate. Lost 3 in the reeds”. Now these reeds were either side of his peg and reach out maybe 20 ft form the bank. And that’s what the carp were doing. They were just kiting left or right, and crashing into those reeds. So I’m thinking, a set of 12 ft rods and wade out a couple of yards and hey presto, no lost fish. So I told him that, and he answered. “Well, I don’t have any 12 ft rods do I”. So I looked at his 13ft spod rod, and thought, some people really don’t have brains…..lol!
@VALIS5382 жыл бұрын
@@drcarp7377 if I even start thinking about a reply I’ll be here all day telling you issues with modern carp angling lol, but all you need to know is this, what on gods green earth have 10ft rods got 50mm but eyes on for lol 😂😂
