Thanks for that video. Have you received your 4c already and could you compare the brightness in some video? I am also about to buy the 4b or 4c, I am not sure yet.

@Speelbird I will probably have the 4c only in the new year because I'm about to start in a few weeks on a trip to Central America. I've seen a tablet double the brightness of the 4b and I expect great things from the 4c, also because it's same size, same mount and same controls.

@@biboandagape thanks a lot! I hope to have the luck to go on trips like that in your age too someday :) All the best and ride safe

Hi! Still not shure about that chinese android tablets even you have used that through more than 40000km. Brightness in the shadow ist very high but in direct sunlight a garmin transreflective display gets better the more light comes on it. Not shure about android for that purpose is the best idea. Maybe too volatile becrause of updates. Even if it is android I would not overload a gps device with further apps.

A few notes: all the best tablets for motorbike are made in China, usually by the same producer; don't look at specs, but at proper accessories and support provided (rally and long traveling requirements are very stringent); once the tablet is working fine, no Android OS updates, not necessary; the best tablets employ fast cpu and have lots of memory, installing a few apps like iOverlander, OsmAnd and even GoogleMap is NOT a problem; keep the tablet dedicated to motorbike only, don't mess with it! BTW, on the Carpe Iter you can put a screen that improves the readability in direct sunshine.
