Hello. I work in WNY. I charge $5.50 cleaning and empty. Berber is $6. I never give an exact price on furniture. Every job is different. As far as rip out. I charge two dollars a yard with hallway and disposal. I generally take that home so I’m sure my garbageman love me. Haha. I’ve never had a customer argue with me on the price. But if they do I just don’t take the job. You can always lower your price, but if they agree you could never ask for more. Good luck to all you installers out there. Work hard and do a great job and you’ll never have a hard time finding more customers. We all get old So make sure you have an exit plan. Good luck and God bless

Another great video Mike. I hope the $13 a yard you were talking about is profit on the job? If you were selling the carpet and the carpet cushion with labor for only $13/yd. that is cheap!

John Steier thank you! No sir that is a “get in” package I offer to my long term consistent clients. very little “meat on the bone” in these deals but it helps the flippers hit their numbers and it’s good fill in work for my guys

$2700 for 214 sqyrds doesn’t make sense .. the cheapest carpet u pay $8 by yard .. total 🟰 $1712 plus 7 rolls padding that cost u $80 each one total 🟰 $560.. carpet and padding 🟰 $2272.. now that will take u 2 days that means $$340 for helper (minimum payment ) Total 🟰 $2612 .. then .. tacks strips, seam tape , glue , nails .. gas and food … not profit ..
