Thank you for this. I use a Samsung S22 Ultra, and my screen is not as fast as yours is. It takes like 10 seconds to get to every different screen, despite Samsung telling me that it is a data cable. But I like the fact that I can answer all my WhatsApp messages by voice alone, therefore keeping my concentration on the road. No Chery Driver ever needs to have their mobile to their ears or type out any messages.

By the way, you have a really high-end phone🤩 and 10 seconds is a lot of time - have you tried using the stock cable that came with the S22?🤔Also, the phone I used in the video isn’t as good as your phone. I am using a ZFold 3 and the response on the Chery infotainment screen it is not as fast as yours too. Changed cables and still the same 😢 it is sloooowwwww.

How is the car after 1 year now ?

@@TastaLover So far so good, not complaints , There was an issue with the center console chrome lining, but the service center team changed the whole console. The rear bumper exhaust pipe cover got rusted in few months, but that also got replaced. The dealership here gives good service. Overall I am happy with this car. Thanks for asking.

Thanks for this. I do have 1 question. When I connect my iphone to activate apple carplay, I seem to struggle editing my maps…. When I tap on the settings of maps, it will not allow me to access any of the map’s settings. Also, when I try to search, it does nothing when tapping on the search icon. Any idea?

Unfortunately, I don't know how to install apps on the default Infotainment System😞 I believe the dealerships are the ones who should be installing these as well as updates for the car. Hi @carmicarlo9868,, I can confirm that there is both Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. 😁 It had it since I got my car last July 2022, it's possible that the demo unit tested didn't have it yet at the time of review.🙇‍♂️

Here are things that I would try: - Make sure you're cable is connected at the correct port (Data port 1) - If you're using an adapter for a USB-C to lightning cable, please try using a wire that doesn't need any adapter (just straight USB to lightning) ...if those doesn't work, its best to contact your nearest dealership to have it checked. Hi sir! 👋 By default, both CarPlay and Android Auto Android Auto are only via wired connection. If you prefer wireless connection po, you can get external dongles such as CarLinkit. Wireless connection would’ve been sweet👌. But personally, I don’t mind using the wired method.😁

Hi just got my Chery Tiggo 8 yesterday. in some Android models (the Samsung S20 and above it seems) you can use android auto wirelessly.. other phones e.g. most of the chinese ones (mine is Poco X3, my wife Poco F4 which is relatively new) you have to use a cable. and it needs to be a good cable a bad one will give you a bad experience :)

@@NotAProDrayber our version is 2.1.0 and it just works, you connect with Bluetooth and it gives you android auto. But only for Samsung phones. Others need cable.
