Hey pan, about 5 months ago you did a video on the avalonking armorshield 9. I asked how long would it last on a windshield for a truck driver. You didn't know but I would like to give you an update. I drive about 3k miles a week so I put about 60k miles and I have been through all weather types rain, snow, even bug seasons. The result I haven't had to apply a second application yet. Next month I will because I'm getting mostly water sheeting now but I still have great visibility in the rain. Before this I was applying rainx on the windshield biweekly. Thanks Pan for all you do. I would like you to keep us updated on the layering with PERL. Another comment below mentioned Adam’s Graphene Tire Dressing. That stuff is the the bomb, especially when it is applied after a car wash to a tire that has already been preprinted with it. It depends on your level of iron contamination. If you see lots of orange specs, wash the car, dry it, spray IronX on dry paint and agitate it with a microfiber towel or mitt, rinse. If you don’t see much contamination, wash car, rinse, spray IronX on wet paint, let it dwell, rinse.

@PanTheOrganizer Жыл бұрын
It has been a while since I tested the Optimum tire coating, but I would tend to say that the BlackOut is really the best tire coating I have tested to this day. 5 months durability in summer months, and 2-3 months in harsh Canadian winters in my conditions really makes this an awesome product. But now that their new CarPro DarkSide has been released, I prefer that. It's much less expensive, quicker/easier to apply, and I still get 1-2 months of durability from it. I made an update for that here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/Z5XMfYSoeMadbNU I have heard that Optimum have a new updated formula of the tire coating, which I have yet to test.

"I clean my car twice weekly." I barely have time to clean mine once a month. Coating looks great, though -- I should look into something like that.

Hi Pan. As I asked you in the products rewards video, could you check Dura coating? Seems to last around a year. 🙏🏻

If I get enough viewer requests for it, sure.

I’m all for ceramic coatings, or waxing, detailing, however, this tire coating does not make much sense to me as they clean up just fine when we wash them recoat them to give them a fresh look. I suppose if you’re driving on dirt/muddy roads daily then possibly.

Pan, can you put this on your daily driver? I like the idea of this coating but how much time did this car spend outside of the garage in the "elements"? This doesn't appear to be a daily driver. I'm really curious for some daily driver real world results because I'm really interested in putting this on my cars but not at that price if it doesn't last.

I am now layering CarPro PERL on it, so yes.

What can I use to black out white letters on my tires?
@rhino12183 жыл бұрын
I guess that is a real world test knowing you wouldn’t be going around with dirty tires. How many miles are on the Porsche now?
@PanTheOrganizer3 жыл бұрын
I did roughly 1865 miles (3000 km) since applying it.

I just applied optimum tire coating to my AT tires. It came out a little brown and peeling I know I'm going have to strip it and reapply. I guess my tires was not clean enough and probably still had protection on them. Any recommendations on stripping it off
@PanTheOrganizer3 жыл бұрын
Proper prep is absolutely key before applying coatings on any surface. For stripping it off, there aren't any miracles. Round after round of mineral spirits or products like this: amzn.to/2WLLyDe

@@PanTheOrganizer thanks. I watched a viedo by optimum for stripping it they recommended there tar remover

How many pickup tires can you do with a bottle?
@PanTheOrganizer2 жыл бұрын
I haven’t tested this on pickups. But I’m able to coat my staggered 20/21 inch tires on my Porsche three times with one big bottle. They are low profile tires though.

you said that the roads haven't been paved yet and there were some gravels. I suggest to contribute with a few million dollars for the necessary works :)))

It’s a new project. But they paved the roads once the majority of the homes were built. That’s how they do things in the province of Quebec. Everything is fine now.

@PanTheOrganizer3 жыл бұрын
Haha yeah no choice until the road is paved. It’s my daily driver. But I only have a few hundred feet before reaching a paved road as we’re one of the first homes in the new development so it’s not too bad. And I roll at like 10 miles an hour on that road until I reach proper pavement haha.
