When I turn my car on, I get very loud static/white noise until the carpuride is booted up. Yours didn’t do that. How do I get this to stop and just quietly connect?

Just noticed. The unit has a USB C 5v power input, but on there website it’s showing a DC 12-24v in the picture. So if you were to buy the USB 2 port USB charger accessory, you would be screwed as i nearly did.

Good point. This unit would not work with any other 5v power adapter I had around the house. It insisted on using its supplied power adapter, in the car.

Lots of questions - how does it work when left in a hot car for a couple of days. How is the screen visibility during a mid-day California drive. Does this have any sort of battery backup internally? Does the MP3 allow for audio scrubbing or just next track, previous track. If playing MP3 audiobook (ie large MP3 file) does it 'continue playing' at the point tat was left off, or at the start of the track. does this still work after a couple of weeks continues use, or does it randomly restart and or loose connection. If you were forced to say one bad thing about this unit, what would it be?

How did you find getting the phone to work? I can't seem to get the phone working. I can make a call and the people on the other end can here, but I can't get the sound through my speakers

How are you connecting the unit to your car? 3.5mm audio cable or via FM Transmitter?

@@databits actually figured it out, I was using the 3.5mm, but the bluetooth connection to the car was causing a bit of a mixup. Once I disconnected (forget device) from the bluetooth I was good to go. Appreciate you following up though!

Thanks, if i connected the backup camera to a permanent 12V (no access to the reverse gear 12V), how could i trigger it the camera screen??

I just wish Apple would just give us a car mode for the iPhone. Seems like it could do almost everything carpuride does.
