Let it be known that you are going to have a ton of trouble with the BT feature on these. I have been going back and forth with customer service for the whole time I've owned it (almost a month) and when I ask for a refund they won't do it.

@SpyderLee I bought the Carpuride w903 for my ford fiesta, and when I connect the dual bluetooth way, the voice button on my steering wheel doesn't work with siri, and instead still connects to Ford SYNC. Also having issues with the unit alerting and showing text messages through Carplay (Again it's going through SYNC instead). Do you know if there is there a way to overcome this?

Great reviews on these products, quick question for a non tech savvy old man, i too have a crappy fiesta like yourself, do you connect the phone to the carpuride and the car radio ? Or do you just connect the phone to the Carpuride ? I am considering buying the w103 dual BT one for myself. Many thanks for your time.

With CarPlay it first connects the carpuride via Bluetooth then switches over to a WiFi connection to run CarPlay. Then your Bluetooth will be free to connect to your car. So sounds will come out your car radio and you can use the CarPlay on the carpuride to control everything. I assume android auto works the same way. Once you’ve connected once it’ll do it all automatically every time after that

Just an advise for ford Owners. If you have a USB in your vehicle its better to power it through it as it uses 5v usb c. The USB in the car turns off automatically in like 10 seconds of switching off the car. The lighter socket doesn't switch off and in some cars it switches off after 2 hours. I did it in my F150 and Mustang and both feel like a stock piece of the Vehicles 😉

Considering buying carpuride W903 or Lamtto 9.26 dash cam CarPlay. The Lamtto do the exact same thing as carpuride only difference the rotation camera. Lamtto is $80 cheaper which to buy?

I’ve not tried the lamtto. The carpuride isn’t cheap but the build quality is good. I have a video of one by carpodgo too. Same price range also top build quality. They all do kinda the same thing over all price ranges just some feel more premium and have a smoother better ui

To be honest every one I’ve fitted I could have easily left in the car permanently they all do a similar thing. I’ve got a more expensive one to test so I’ll have something to compare properly. I like the look of this ‘lower wider screen’ design the most.

Did they send this for you to review? WARNING!! I have had nothing but trouble with this company. I bought a W103 Pro and was having troubles and I reached out to them and at first they tried to help but nothing was working so for over 2 weeks I have been requesting a return. They are basically threatening me that I shouldn't ask for a return and my money back because "shipping costs are expensive" and "it will probably get lost in shipping". So if it works for you great but if it doesn't, you are going to have a hell of a time trying to return it. There are a lot of limitations with using Apple Car Play and Android Auto...don't think the map service will work like it does on your phone or tablet.

Sorry you have been having issues. My interactions with have been ok but that’s probably expected. CarPlay and android auto is limited by the phone and not the device. It operates the same across all devices. The sound quality, initial ui, connectivity, and features additional to CarPlay like streaming services are the only things that change between these devices. If you are having map issues then you are either doing something wrong in your phone settings or expecting something that wouldn’t work on any CarPlay device. I use CarPlay devices daily for navigation etc.. not necessarily this one but the CarPlay functionality is the same as mentioned
