Interesting. I thought this song was separate and labeled “Anansi Cudjoe” like “Kromanti Cudjoe”. I wonder if there’s any connection other than the fact that both Cudjoe, Kromanti, and Anansi are all associated with the Akan/Kromanti nation

Oh yes this song is Anansi Cudjoe, I will give it the more common name....I think the one with Cromanti cudjoe goes like this "Cromanti cudjoe!...Ahhh ha da-wu-lay..Da-wu-lay! Ahhh ha da-wu-lay". I can't 100% say if Anansi and Kromanti Cudjoe are same ancestral spirit that's being honoured. But most likely it is...The one with Anansi Oh Sari Baba is associated with the actual Akan God.

Ite so I renamed it...I spelt Cudjoe in its Akan form "Kojo"

@@greenzculture9368 yes i know that one. That’s to “wake up the ancestors”. I agree that while they’re connected they’re not the same as Anansi is a god while Kromanti Cudjoe is moreso a deified person, which happens in many cultures and religions.
