As a European, after all that the West has done to Afghanistan, they still wonder, "Why do they hate us so much?" 😂 It's unbelievable how "innocent" their response is. I want to visit Afghanistan soon too. As a former journalist, I am sick and tired of the Western propaganda, especially towards Muslim countries.

As a woman from the uk I have always been led to believe palaces like Afghanistan were the worst of bad bunch of countries to visit, I now realise how much we are made to fear the country and the people. The people who you met seemed so very kind and generous the food looked amazing the Mosque was just breathtakingly beautiful, and I truly hope that one day the people of the western world can visit this beautiful country and bring money into their economy, we have after all tried to destroy this nation and failed as have many other nations. So to the Afghan people I promise I will come to your country and I simply can’t wait 🙏

While I do respect talking to ordinary people, even from Taliban and understanding their point of view, the Taliban in Afghanistan have systematically restricted the human rights of women and girls and suffocated all aspects of their lives. It's not that Afghani people wouldn't be 'friendly', the food wouldn't be nice, or the architecture wouln't be stunning, it has never been about that. This is all superficial level. It's the fact that Afghani girls and women under Taliban suffer from their education path being cut from 6th grade onwards, they can't any longer take many jobs, if at all, and the suicide rates of women and girls have gone up. Systematic erasure of the rights of girls and women to be equal is not 'cultural', it's entirely strategic and political.

@jacktorres88947 ай бұрын
@@av9049-e7l no one is denying what you have said. Refusing career/work opportunities for women and education for girls and women is wrong. The Taliban initially said this was due to security and safety which no believed but they are what they are. It was incombant upon the West to take the initiative and usher they towards developing an open and fair society for all. What did our governments do, they flatly refused to work with. The Taliban government asked the US government for support in reconstruction of the country which they destroyed and they asked for recognition to deal with state matters on local and international level but the US and European governments refused the Taliban request. Afghanistan is under financial embargo just like Cuba because this is what we do to people who don't agree with us or bend over backwards to our demands. So the the Taliban decided to go their own way. This excecebated the suffering of those same women and children you spoke of because in the West we live in a bubble where we think every body around the world should live like how we live that's not how it works. It's always our way or the highway. If the US and European governments engaged them in dialogue there would have been the ample opportunities for the Taliban to change their philosophy. US and European engagement would have helped reduce the suffering of women and girls due to lack work and educational opportunities. We got the hump we because we lost the war. Whether we like it or not the Taliban hold power in Afghanistan and this time no one can depose them if this continues we are just as culpable in the suffering of Afghan women and girls. We can't just blame the Taliban we should force our governments to do more for the people of Afghanistan especially women and girls. By the way the nationality is Afghan the currency is Afghani.

Madam, please don't be deceived by the Taliban and their supporters, including on KZbin, and don't try to show them as good, beautiful, and kind. As a person who is from Afghanistan myself, and I know Afghanistan very well, I tell you that it is not the truth. which you may be able to understand as a foreign tourist on one or two trips to Afghanistan, because on the one hand, the Taliban, due to their need to be recognized by the countries of the world, are trying to behave very well and They should respectfully show a very beautiful and good face to the foreign tourists. On the other hand, people cannot tell the truth in front of the cameras because of the fear of the Taliban, but they say the things that the Taliban want the foreign tourists to hear about Afghanistan. The truth is that the Taliban They are also misogynists, they have officially deprived the women and girls of Afghanistan of all their basic and human rights, including the right to study and work outside the home. They have implemented and continue to implement severe measures against other people who are not of their own ethnicity and tribe, such as the Hazaras, Tajiks, and Vazbeks, especially the Hazaras, who face the most severe form of discrimination, such as canceling the official recognition of their religion. Shia is like kicking them out of the government system that they don't have any right to decide about their destiny and their country, like usurping and forcibly taking their lands, houses and areas in provinces like Uruzgan and Karabagh region from Ghazni province and other provinces. Also, the Taliban and immediately wherever the pro-Taliban Pashtuns falsely filed cases against the land and areas of the Hazaras in the Taliban courts and claimed the lands and areas of the Khans of the people of the Hazara ethnicity because the claimants were Pashtuns and of the Taliban's own ethnicity and tribe. immediately and in a very short time and without any investigation, they handed over the lands and areas of the Hazaras to them without any real documents and forced the Hazaras to leave their homes and areas, and even in the same area of Bamyan and Band Amir For now you have gone and you are there, the overwhelming majority of the population of these areas are Hazaras, and among them there are many people who are literate, they know English very well, they have cars, they are unemployed, and they need a lot of income, but because of organized discrimination The fear and mischief that exists against them cannot be a guide for foreign tourists, even in their own regions, such as Bamyan, Daikundi, and other places, let alone other regions of Afghanistan, and currently your guide is a non-Hazara person, most likely from other regions, and so on. There is also discrimination against other ethnic groups such as Tajiks and Vazbeks, leading to a lesser degree because they have no religious differences with the Taliban despite having ethnic and linguistic differences with the Taliban, while the Hazaras also have a linguistic and ethnic difference with the Taliban and are religiously different as they are Shiites. While the Taliban are Sunnis, please do not try to show a good and beautiful face of the Taliban because you do not know the depth of the tragedy, discrimination, genocide and ethnic cleansing in Afghanistan, because it will oppress the people of Afghanistan.

Please, friends, do not be deceived by the Taliban and do not spread false reports about Afghanistan to the world, because this is injustice and injustice to the people of Afghanistan and help to the tyrant and tyrannical rule of the Taliban. All over the world, they try to behave very well and humanely with foreign tourists, especially those who are KZbinrs, and make the face of their sovereignty look beautiful, but they do not behave like that with the people of Afghanistan, and the Taliban are an extremely ethnocentric group, cruel and cruel, and their behavior In front of the people of Afghanistan, especially in front of the ethnic minorities, especially the Hazaras, Tajiks, and Vazbeks, it is completely fascist and racist, especially in front of the Hazaras, who are religiously different from the Taliban and are of the Shiite religion, and it is very cruel and insidious and discriminatory. And it is really an example of ethnic apartheid, but people inside Afghanistan cannot tell the truth to foreign KZbinrs for fear of being punished by the Taliban, and they always censor themselves. First, as soon as the Taliban took control of Afghanistan, they canceled the official recognition of their religion, namely the Shia religion, and secondly, they do not have any role for the Hazaras in the political structure of Afghanistan, and they have actually removed them from all high and important government positions, and thirdly, in many They have taken Hazara lands, areas and villages from the Hazara areas under the pretext of private complaints, as well as government lands, etc. All of them are not possible here, and they also do not allow the Shia religion, which is the religion of the majority of Hazaras, to be taught in schools or universities, even in the provinces and regions where the majority of the population is Shia, and also to remove the symbols and historical and political figures of the Hazaras from all regions. It is always going on, and they also consider the documents of Hazara lands and houses in urban areas as invalid, and also regarding the Persian language, which is the language of the majority (60) percent of the people of Afghanistan, the Taliban is trying to erase and destroy it, and the signs of many places that It was written in Farsi language and instead written in Pashto which is their own language, and also most of the media and televisions have closed or limited the Persian language and even the names of the streets and alleys which are in Farsi language or named after one of the characters. The Persian language was removed and replaced by Pashto names, which is the language of the Taliban. This is only a very small part of the discrimination and oppression of the Taliban on the non-Pashtun peoples of Afghanistan. It is obvious that all the atrocities and crimes of the Taliban on the people of Afghanistan The non-Pashtun tribes of Afghanistan, especially the Hazaras, need hundreds of books and years of research and enlightenment

I am from Pakistan, and I believe that the people of Afghanistan are truly lovely and kind. Just like everywhere else, there are good and bad individuals. While there may be some who engage in terrorism, it is unfair to label all Afghans as such. Unfortunately, fake propaganda and false information often defame Muslims on the world stage, but I have faith that this will not continue forever. Inshallah.

Very impressed that you challenged yourself to visit Afghanistan. It’s a beautiful country and the people have a resilient spirit. To think that only a few years ago this was a war ravaged country with a population suffering the trauma of the torture inflicted upon them, it’s so nice to see them welcoming tourists and engaging with such warmth. We as westerners sometimes forget that their experiences of life have been very different from ours and for most of them each day brings so many struggles to survive. I’m glad you bought the ring. Trade must be quite slow and when only one family member is earning for usually large families they need all the help they can get. Also I think your positivity and warmth rubs of on them. They can see that people in the west don’t hate them. Loving your voyages into the unknown 😉 ❤

I entered Afghanistan after travelling through Greece, turkey and Iran in 1976 on my first trip to India. I recall staying in Herat , where shops were lighted with candles, it felt like entering a world that was still living in the past. On the way back from India, I in 1977 had the opportunity to see the Buddhas , unfortunately blown up by the Taliban. Glad to learn that they do welcome visitors again. I pray for peace, the country has suffered too many wars. But I also pray for freedom and for the rights of women to be respected. Sat Sri Akal, Salam, Shalom, Shanti.

I am a French born British national, got married in Chandigarh i Punjab. My wife is Indian and we are running a 12 acre organic farm in Punjab, near Anandpur sahib. I travelled by bus from Kabul to Peshawar, in 1976 ( I was 19 years old) and back to Kabul in 1977 through the kiber pass , something I wouldn’t try these days, especially since I converted to Sikhism.
